Lastimosamente Paita no es tan visítable. Urge un plan de recuperación del puerto, pues su casco histórico es precioso pero echado al abandono. En cuanto al hotel es una hermosa casona del siglo XIX, la atención del señor Pedro es casi familiar y magnífica, y es alojarse literal en un monumento histórico. Desde nuestra habitación se ven las luces del puerto e incluso de Colan, súper cómoda y con baño privado todo súper limpio. Incluso en el primer piso verás avisos de las antiguas compañías de vapores que salían de Paita hacia Callao o Valparaíso y luego a Europa o a los Estados Unidos. Esperemos que esta casona perdure y merezca que la Municipalidad Provincial la declare hotel histórico.
