Amazing welcome, attentive service, excellent value, great food and fab breakfast, lovely clean rooms, will definitely revisit. The location is fabulous with great parking and a lovely beer garden. This is a community owned country pub ru by Katie and Dan👍

The inn is in a pretty village and has alot going for it. The bar and eating areas are characterful and always very clean and welcoming. The room was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The food delicious. (best scrambled egg I've ever had) The hosts were warm, friendly, relaxed and helpful. Couldn't ask for more. Except I wish we had a few more nights!

Absolutely beautiful rooms with all you need for a lovely stay. Great homemade food served in the evening and breakfast too. Very welcoming owners where nothing was too much trouble! It’s also set in beautiful countrysidesurroundings. Will definitely be back!

The people who ran this place was very exceptional the rooms were clean an comfy the food very good injoyed are stay very attentive to detail an very wellcomeing people will go back again couldn't be more wellcomeing here there was plenty of choice with food an breakfast was realy nice an hot all in all brilliant defo gets 5 stars from me thank you for haveing us Tony an pat

Stopped here for the night it's a lovely place very relaxing pub no music blaring out. The food was delicious and fresh , I had brisket pie homemade my partner had gammon, the rooms where spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Lovely place, stayed 1 night for business. The room was clean, bathroom was huge and the bed super comfy. The evening food and breakfast was made with quality ingredients and staff very friendly. Overall very nice stay and great value for money.

The Countryman’s Inn is a lovely country pub/hotel in a pretty small village. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great to pop down for a quick pint to the bar and the breakfast was excellent. It’s conveniently located not far off the A1. We will be back.

Toke the father for dinner last minute thing we booked to eat and the food was amazing Kate cooked us lovely flat iron steaks which were cooked perfectly my dad had the gammon with chips pineapple and egg there wasn’t a crumb left friendly atmosphere and a good price we love it here
