Smelly, old fashioned room. (Room 12) Hot water tap ran brown for a few secs when turned on. Bathroom smelt of urine. I showered at the spa, wasn’t trusting our rooms water. Had 3 small old towels in room for 2 adults and 1 child. Ridiculous. Complimentary bathroom products are cheap as chips, so bring your own shampoo/conditioner. Food was just ok. Had a hair in my dinner on last night. They are severely understaffed in restaurant, so staff are run off their feet. You have to ask constantly for the same thing. Not their fault, but needs addressed. They didn’t charge me for my pasta, sure I couldn’t eat it anyway. Spa was ok. Tiny pool. Communal, over crowded changing. When will these places realise that women don’t like getting changed in front of each other! Won’t be back. If my mum hadn’t of paid for the room as a treat, I would have complained my butt off. My sister was also staying (room 20). Got no sleep for two nights. Room directly above reception, where music was played until 11pm. Then wedding guests shouted, carried on and slammed doors till 3am. NIGHTMARE. Positive - the staff are lovely and polite. - the newly decorated reception is nice

I stayed in room 2 last night. The hotel is warm friendly and spotless. The beds and pillows are amazing prob best bed I have slept in and I do like to travel!! The food is beautiful and the breakfast offers a cooked breakfast, fruit, cereal and yoghurt. Delicious! The entertainment last night was a guy with his guitar who was very good with a combination of music for children, younger and mature guests!! He involved the guests throughout!! A fantastic Birthday treat I will definitely be back!!!

One of the nicest places I have stayed. The place itself is lovely and the staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. The food was excellent. A very nice place to stay. It will be even nicer in the warmer weather when you can sit outside. Good starting place for the Antrim coast.

We went as a family of 5 to this hotel, as it was able to accommodate more than 2 children in a hotel room. We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are extremely pleasant. Our room had been freshly painted, was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were very welcome. The lobby and dining rooms are beautifully decorated. The corridors to the rooms feel narrow and a little old fashioned, but our room itself had been freshly decorated and was lovely. Be aware that the pool does not open for residents during the day, it is for spa customers only between the hours of 10 amand 5pm. Initially I felt this might be a problem, but it was actually lovely, as we got to use the pool in the evenings when it was quiet. The pool itself is a lovely, warm spa pool. It was very relaxing. Towels are provided to residents. There was also a steam room for adults. Breakfast was beautiful. It was a buffet, but small enough that everything felt fresh and warm. Again, the staff were very pleasant. Two small issues we had were dealt with by front desk staff very easily. One piece of advice I'd give would be to bring your own hairdryer if planning on using the pool at night. While sufficient, the hairdryer provided is not very powerful. We also had a lovely meal on Easter Sunday evening in Cushys Grill. I simply cannot understand any negative reviews for this restaurant. It was absolutely beautiful. There was a great range of options. Kids chicken goujons were the best I'd ever seen. Proper chicken breast meat with a full portion of fries. All in all, we had a very relaxing two nights in Bushtown.

We had the Sunday carvery for mother's day and it was an incredible feast. Excellent value for money at £20 per person. Incredible amounts of delicious hot food and great choices of desserts. Absolutely perfect for a large family dinner out.

I really do feel for anyone with a wedding booked in this establishment within the next few months. I had gone out for lunch and to speak to the wedding cordanitor the restaurant manager came and spoke to me and I gave her my dates that I was hoping for ect. She did explain that she didn't think the date was available but she would speak to her manager kieran and see what they could do and she was to ring me on the Wednesday.. I never received a call so I rang on Thursday morning left a message no1 got back to me rang Friday again left a message again no1 got back to me.. Saturday evening I received a call from kieran telling me the 6th December wasn't available because of Christmas party nights which I accepted he then gave me the date of the 28th November which I was delighted about as this was the other date I had in mind. We had a chat and I was delighted and we made an arrangement for myself and my partner to come out the following Sunday to meet the coordinator and get things booked. We arrived out on the Sunday and had our dinner and a few drinks and waited for the coordinator to come meet us.. I was surprised that it was the restaurant manager and not girl I had expected. So.. we sat and went over the brocher which I had already seen online and had chosen the package I had wanted to take. I asked about discounted rooms for some of my guests and was told "He" doesn't do that anymore as he can fill rooms at the weekend with other guests. I informed kerry that online in the brocher it says that they do offer this service. She replied "show me" which I did as I had it screen shotted she replied oh we mustn't have updated it yet! I also asked if we could maybe get the price of the room down a bit as we almost had the 100 guests required.. kerry said to leave all these with her and she would speak to kieran and ring me Wednesday evening. We filled out the booking form with all our details on it and we had 3000 to pay as our deposit kerry told us not to pay till she spoke to kieran and then we could come out on Wednesday evening and pay then.. considering online it states you have 2 weeks from the day you fill in booking form to pay deposit of 500 which we were for paying 3000. So we left with promise of call on Wednesday.. no phone call Wednesday no phone call Thursday I rang twice Thursday evening and sent an email and eventually I got in touch with kieran.. his first words were oh aye theres a problem with your date i said no theres no problem i was just waiting to see about accommodation for guests his reply was I don't do discount and the room is the price it is! I said that was OK and arranged to come out the Friday evening to pay the 3000 we couldn't get out on the Friday but I rang first thing on Friday morning to arrange a different time over weekend.. myself and my partner rang 11 times and left messages for kieran and kerry and not once did we get a call back.. I had got wee save the dates and all printed out and was really startin

This is a lovely welcoming hotel with smiles on everyone's faces. The rooms are all in the process of being renovated and those finished are really of a high standard. The food from breakfast to the carvery lunch and dinner is excellent. The Staff are all very helpful. The only downside is that there is no lift but there are good accessible rooms on the ground floor.
