The hotel is very central in the old town of Cologne. We were there for a night. The staff at the check-in and check-out was very friendly. It was all clean and ordened in the room. There was nothing to defect. 
Two things we would like to do for this hotel: 
We think the mattresses have seen better days once and should be exchanged again. 
Though the hangs are available, but unfortunately not light-intranslated. It will be very bright in the room in the morning. Not everyone booking there is on a business trip and must stand up early in the morning. 😉

I stayed at another hotel nearby due to the hotel's circumstances. In fact, I was embarrassed, but it was a bit far but I had a good place to catch it and I had a good time. Albergo is very well located and is within walking distance of anywhere if you go to the Cologne Christmas Market. I couldn't go to the room and only the reception moved elsewhere, but the people at the reception were very friendly and tidy near the desk.
