Single room, on the 5th floor, which is only reachable by a fly of stairs.! If you aren't mobile enough or can't carry the luggage tell upfront or contact hotel
Single room perfect for a one night stay. Room 502 haf an amazing view of the Cologne Cathedral.
I choose this hotel for a overnight, to continue my journey the next day.

The room is huge and the premise is super welcoming! There is a hot water kettle and a bathtub. If it is cold, you can ask the front desk for an electric heater! So rare!

I booked for a single night due to a travel sleep over. Hotel is about a 5-7 min walk from Köln Hbf. In a quiet street. My single bed was on the 5 floor which can br accessed from the 4th floor by stairs, so in case you're not able to walk up stairs with luggage, let the Hotel know ahead of time I was aware of this and it wasn't a issue for me. Room 502 is a small room with a single bed, it eas clean and efficient. It had an amazing view of the Cathedral of Cologne. I left early in the morning yo catch my train so I wasn't able to have breakfast. Check in was efficient and very helpful and friendly

Stayed here with our two small dogs and had a lovely experience. The room was really big ,as was the bathroom, and had a lovely view on to the courtyard. Everything was very clean. The bathroom showed tiny signs of age if I’m being picky but even then the room was fab. Had a treat waiting for the dogs which is a nice touch. There is construction going on at the front but we didn’t hear it at all. We were facing the courtyard so maybe this helped. Either way didn’t bother us. Just couldn’t drive down the street. They don’t have a car park but an agreement with a local parking garage (5 min max walk) that you can pay to use. I can’t remember the price sorry! The location is a 10 min walk from the Cathedral and 15 from Alter Markt where there’s lots of places to eat and drink. So perfect for us and the dogs!

Room was beyond impressive, with a beautiful view of the courtyard, reception smelt AMAZING, room was very clean upon arrival, and staff were helpful and very informative. Would recommend to anyone staying in the centre of cologne. As everything is a short walk away. Plus Uber pickup location was easy and efficient.

About 5-6 minute walk from the main railway station, in a quiet area. We were given an upgrade and were in a top floor room that was spacious and quiet with all the normal facilities. The front desk staff very helpful. They have a very good restaurant and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city and the river where there are many outdoor eating establishments. Happy to recommend this hotel

Do not book there right now, unless you get up at 6am everyday.. there is a massive construction site opposite the hotel with several buildings/blocks being torn down.. had requested a quiet room, also tried to change it upon arrival - but was not possible, had to stay in one on 1st floor facing the construction site. One even feels vibrations in tve hotel building from the heavy machinery across the street. Just terrible. Wanted to relax - and seemed a charming place.They should really inform guests about this before bookings.

The new restaurant in the Hotel Antonius is called, confusingly, Augustin. Newishly opened, it is very popular with Cologne people already and somewhat talked about, which is why it is weird that it doesn't have its own tripadvisor entry. So here goes. This is a nice space, dominated by a host of different lamps and chandeliers which I find a bit lampshoppy, but still nice. Reviews on other sites complain primarily that it's loud - our nice table wasn't. Service is a challenge these days in Germany (too many people fired during the pandemic); the one here was friendly and prompt, if sometimes forgetful. The menu is funny - the place bills itself as providing non-fancy German comfort food, but the prices are very gourmet. But we found the food much more elevated than the inverted claims suggest - bold, flavorful, really nice. Good portions too. Nice open wine selection, well-tempered. Altogether, a welcome addition to the Cologne food scene.

Classik Hotel provided us a comfortable and quiet room with good wi-fi. Staff were friendly. There is a nice outdoor area, but sadly no breakfast was being served because of covid, just takeaway. However, we saw other hotels offering nice sit down breakfasts nearby. The room was decently clean, but there was some shmutz in the shower and a grease stain on the headboard. The woman who worked the front desk said the hotel is changing their outsourced cleaning team next month.
