The room was tiny, dim, and had no air conditioning. What's worse, there were tons of bed bugs on the bed; my colleague and I were bitten terribly, covered in red, itchy rashes. We reported it to the front desk, and they moved us to another room, but it had even more bugs. This made our entire business trip incredibly unpleasant. I emailed the hotel manager explaining the situation and requesting a refund, but received no response. Seriously bad review, I will never stay at this hotel again in my life.

After settling down for sleep, i was awakened by insects crawling on my face! Upon pulling back the sheets, I discovered live insects crawling on the mattress, the pillow and on my person (see attached photo). I informed the staff at the front desk immediately, around 3am, but the resolution provided at the time was wholly inadequate… A new room with a broken bathroom light and no apology.

I would say this is most probably the cheapest stay in town with great breakfast. The location is bear to chocolate museum and shopping street. It’s a 20 minute walk to the cologne cathedral.

The hotel is in a very central location, close to the large cathedral, the Rhine River, and the bridges. The Sri Lankan lady at the reception is very attentive, helpful, and clearly loves her job. The breakfast selection is limited but sufficient. We stayed in room number 39; the room's climate and overall cleanliness were quite good.

The room looked completely different from what is shown in the Pictures, i doubt the pictures are of the same location. The breakfast was okay, transport access in the area is good.

Very nice hotel with basic breakfast. Rooms and bedding very clean. Location is excellent. Only 10/15 minutes walk from central station and Cathedral.
