art'otel Cologne

The hotel's location is decent, rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is good. However, the breakfast buffet offers a limited variety, and the gym is very small with minimal equipment. It's essentially a 3-star hotel by domestic standards.

The location is super convenient, right outside is the Chocolate Museum, and the bus stop downstairs has direct routes to the Old Market and the Central Station (right next to Cologne Cathedral). The front desk service was very good and friendly.

The room was spacious, and they had already made up the beds and laid out the bath towels and regular towels for our triple room. The breakfast selection was also very rich, with boiled eggs, fried eggs, bread, milk, and smoked salmon. The staff were exceptionally polite and cleared plates very promptly. The only downside was that the showerhead in the bathroom couldn't be raised as the holder was broken. The most significant drawback was that the hotel is right next to a railway line, and the noise from the subway and cars hitting speed bumps on the highway was incredibly loud. A subway train passed every two to three minutes, starting before 6 AM, which made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep and negatively impacted our enjoyment of the rest of our trip.

I stayed here alone as a woman and it was wonderful! It was clean, and even though I walked around late at night past 11 PM, I never felt unsafe. I also enjoyed walking along the bridge-like path along the Rhine River at night. If I ever go to Cologne again, I'd definitely revisit this place.

Everything from the environment to the service was excellent! I parked for 33 minutes to unload luggage and then had to move my car. When I left the parking lot to pay, the attendant told me that since I only exceeded the 30-minute free parking by three minutes, I didn't need to pay! The front desk staff were also very polite and enthusiastic! Great!

Located near the Rhine, it's actually quite quiet; I didn't encounter any noise issues. The room was spacious, although the color scheme was a bit odd. The distance from the central station is definitely a plus.

Friendly staff, nice room, and a super lovely rooftop terrace. Great checkout time at 12:00 PM, and it was easy to extend it to 1:00 PM. I can warmly recommend it for both business and leisure trips. I will definitely be back.

The location is quite convenient. If you're hungry, there's a chain pizza place across the street where you can grab takeout to bring back to the hotel. On the first floor, they offer lemon water and cucumber water, and you can ask the bar for ice.
