Holiday Inn - the niu, Mill Cologne Mülheim Reviews

Loved it!! Clean, nice staff, great location for summerjam festival, unbeatable price and close to train station and shops. The only negative point is that massive grasshopper (painted, not a real one) on the room’s wall, it was a bit scary and looked like it was judging me 😂😂😂😂😂 oh and the bed were soooo comfy! 10/10 would go again!

It was super lovely, everything was clean, had the basic amenities/needs. The receptionist Daniel was super nice, friendly and helpful. Perfect location as it was close to station, supermarket and if you attending concert it’s close. Quite a nice edition to the room was that there is a Bluetooth speaker in your room which you can play music.

All in all, it was a very nice stay. It was a bit of a shame that there was no kettle or small fridge in the room, but apart from that everything was great!

I stayed there because I had a concert at the Palladium which is ~15mn walk away, other than that there is not much around except supermarkets, but the tram is 1mn walk away so it is easy to get around during the day :) Really great hotel! We loved the speaker built into the wall of our room ahah, nothing to complain about we will come back on occasion.

It was our first stay at this hotel. We were at a concert at the "Palladium" and this hotel was within walking distance. Daniel (a hotel employee) gave us a very friendly "welcome" and was able to give us good tips for our stay. A small plant called "Annemie" was our 'sleepover buddy' and served a good purpose for nature and the environment.

The hotel is a little off-site, in the suburbs of Cologne, but the subway station is not far away, and it takes only 3-5 minutes to walk there. There are many restaurants downstairs, and I ate at the Turkish restaurant for 2 days.

The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are not big, and they are clean and tidy. There is no parking space in the hotel parking lot, so you need to park in the public garage across the road. Fortunately, the road is not wide, and the parking fee seems to be cheaper. The sound of sirens or ambulances is quite loud at night, and I woke up several times a night. The receptionist at the hotel is relatively young and has no patience. It is a bit difficult to communicate if you don't know German.

Second visit to this modern hotel. Service is okay, but could be a bit friendlier. Great location for all concert halls in Cologne-Mülheim. Parking at the house at a fair price. Rate a bit too high this time with €170 vs. €110 on the first visit.
