The hotel’s air-conditioning was switched off at around 10:00 PM. As the room became increasingly hot and stuffy, we informed the hotel staff and requested that the air-conditioning be turned back on. However, we were told that the system was centralised and that they would inform the owner about our complaint.
Unfortunately, despite this assurance, nobody got back to us or provided any solution. We were instead advised to open the windows to allow fresh air into the room. However, this resulted in mosquitoes entering the room, and we were badly bitten. We have consequently suffered several sleepless nights during our stay.
We also sent an email to the hotel explaining our predicament, but no one even bothered to respond. This lack of communication and failure to address a basic room comfort issue is extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially given that we have repeatedly raised the matter with the hotel.
