City Beds Colombo

The location is great, less than a 10-minute walk from Colombo Station. The room was generally clean. It was helpful that they stored my luggage after check-out.

The hotel is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the station and within walking distance to a shopping mall, so the access is good. However, the sound of the train can be quite loud, so light sleepers might find it difficult to sleep at night.

The location is perfect. The room is very spacious and cool, and the bed was quite comfortable.

We arrived at the hotel around 1 AM. Everything was closed, but there was a bell. We weren't sure if it worked. About 10 minutes later, a hotel representative came out to us and processed everything quite quickly. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. You can hear the trains, people in neighboring rooms, and doors slamming. There is absolutely no furniture. It wouldn't cost much to install hooks for clothes on the wall. On the plus side, there's air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The location is decent.
