Al Ponticello

​I traveled to Comacchio by myself and was a little worried at first, but staying at Al Ponticello completely blew me away. The hotel is perfectly located right in the center and is easy to reach whether you are driving or taking public transportation. My room was modern, spacious, spotlessly clean, and above all with a very comfortable bed. ​What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff and their incredible attention to details. I mentioned that I am gluten intolerant, and every morning at breakfast, they prepared a fresh gluten-free cake just for me alongside the bread. It made me feel so cared for! ​I also highly recommend the Flamingo Hiking tour with Riccardo, he is a talented storyteller who made the tour both highly educational with a lot of fun. Both his wife and him were available whenever I needed anything, wrapping their professionalism in genuine warmth. I cannot wait to come back!

It was nice Hotel in the center of Comachio. The obly little downside is the parking situation. If you got a bigger car you should reserve a spot in advance and also tell the personnel that you got a bigger car because the parking space is pretty narrow.

This place is a gem. Highly recommend the breakfast which is fresh and includes home baked goods, poached eggs, cheese and mortadella, fresh yogurt with toppings and juices. We went on Salt Flat excursion with Ricardo which can only be accessed through a registered guide. There were tons of flamingos and other water birds. Comacchio is a bird watcher/photographers paradise and Ricardo’s background as a naturalist and photographer will amp up your experience. Lovely place and people.

Property sits in a quiet location on a canal. It is clean, stylishly fitted and decorated and the room and en suite were comfortable and of reasonable size. Proprietors, Riccardo and Sarah, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an excellent spread of yoghurts, meats, eggs and pastries with local jams etc. A fewvparking spaces are available directly behind the property at a charge of €8 per day, but, be warned, the entrance and parking is very tight, so not for a large car!

Great.perfect location.centere of the town with EV charging port parking. Stuffs are all so kind. I could use microwave oven in the kitchen for my eel rice bowl.the restaurant she taughut me was owesosome. Just one improvement is better wifi connection for next time please!

Great B& B in the heart of Comacchio - excellent welcome and service, The rooms here are very modern and well maintained. If you are riding bikes there is a lock up area, and to depart you will be offered a delicious breakfast buffet with lots of fresh items to choose from. The coffee was great too!

Comfortable, clean room with lovely canal views. The hosts are charming and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was excellent and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Well worth a visit!

A great stay at Al Ponticello while on our Northern Italian trip, chose the hotel because of its location but with limited knowledge of Comacchio. It really is a hidden treasure of a town with history and a fantastic local culture. Before arriving we were messaged by Riccardo to inform us of an event that was happening and that roads were closed. On arrival Riccardo was the most helpful and friendly person to meet. He offered local restaurant recommendations and told us what to look for in the area. The room was very nice and quirky, we were in the eaves of the roof with low ceilings as expected but the central glass shower and round bed were very nice touches. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay to remember. Just a note: you do have to pay for parking which we were not aware of.

Comacchio is a charming destination and Al Ponticello is the perfect place from which to explore. Friendly, professional and obliging staff. The best lication. Comfortable bed 10/10
