TermaEuropa is a relaxed and peaceful establishment, clearly oriented to mature clientele. The facilities look a bit old, but everything is impeccable clean. The rooms are quite big and with a nice view. There are services as a big outdoor swimming-pool with swirls which is a playful experience and a big spa. The spa is one of the strong points of this hotel, it doesn´t look new but its very complete and has many jets. Location is another attractive in this establishment: at a few metres from it there´s a nice river with pools in its banks and there are also some hiking trails in the area. There´s a information signboard by the parking lot. Half-boarding is a good idea: the hotel is in the outskirts of a small village which is a bit limited if you want to go out for a dinner. They have a buffet menu basis but the food is really good, abundant, and varied. As most of the clientele are Spaniards, going there early is a good advice in case you like dining in a more relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights recently at the Balneario in Arnedillo, paying over 400 euros for the room and a mud application for my wife. We were excited about the prospect of staying in an old spa hotel such as Arnedillo and regarded it as a special treat, but in the end we were quite disappointed. First, I’ll start with the positives. The room was good and we enjoyed the warm pool. The bar serves a good Rioja. The service in the restaurant was very polite and attentive. First issue - the food and wine in the restaurant, which we paid separately for, were really not good at all. When you pay almost 200 euros a night you expect the food to be of a high standard. We weren’t expecting haute cuisine, but we were expecting good food, well cooked. This wasn’t the case, the food was rather poor. We spent 2 weeks travelling around Spain, staying in hotels less than half the price, and the food was much better elsewhere. The quality of the food in the Balneario is a real problem, because there are not many other places to eat in Arnedillo, so you may go to bed hungry or disappointed. Second issue - my wife felt that during her mud treatment she was not treated in a gentle and caring manner by the therapist. We understand that communication was difficult due to the language problem, but even so it is still possible to be sympathetic and supportive without a common language. We discussed these issues on two occasions with the hotel and also sent an email. The staff listened to us but were not prepared to offer us a discount or even to acknowledge that there is an issue. This defensive attitude does not seem appropriate for an establishment which charges these rates. A shame, because we think the Balneario could have a bright future if these issues are addressed.

Disfrute de nueve días, a principios del mes de abril, utilizando el programa del IMSERSO. Entorno precios. El balneario está situado a 10 minutos, andando, del pueblo. En la primera semana de abril había abiertos varios bares, una farmacia y alguna tienda de ultramarinos. Las instalaciones del balneario son excelentes y su personal muy amable. Los espacios comunes amplios y cómodos aunque a falta de algún tapizado. La comida es lo que se puede esperar de un bufet libre ajustado de precio. Todos los días había un plato de carne, otro de pescado, dos guarniciones de acompañamiento diferentes (arroz, patatas, verduras, .......), un plato de cuchara, seguramente lo mejor, uno de verdura y otro de arroz, pasta o huevos. De postre fruta, helados o dulces, para mi incomibles. La cena en la misma línea y los desayunos, lo más flojo, a base de dos tipos de embutido de baja calidad, bollería industrial, tomate rallado, tostadas, aceite, ¡MARGARINA!, dos tipos de mermeladas, zumos de botella y fruta. La red wifi no alcanza todas las habitaciones. Tras la queja correspondiente me contestaron que ........ lo sentían. Lo peor, la habitación. No es propia de un hotel de cuatro estrellas ajustándose más a lo que se puede esperar de un hostal. Habitación pequeña con una ventana al exterior. Esquina de la puerta de acceso al cuarto de baño rota. El suelo de la bañera con pintura antideslizante que en algunas zonas se encuentra descascarillada. En las esquinas y en los espacios entre los azulejos del alicatado se puede "disfrutar" de unas excelentes manchas negras producidas por el moho de meses. La limpieza de la habitación es la justa para hacer la cama y dar una ligera pasada a muebles y suelo, el polvo se acumula en las esquinas. En resumen: amabilidad, comida aceptable, instalaciones termales y espacios comunes excelentes, wifi mejorable y si les ofrecen la habitación 232 pidan que se la cambien.

Experiencia de 10 días muy gratificante. Las instalaciones son buenas y el balneario da un juego excelente. La comida es correcta. No entiendo las opiniones negativas que se pueden ver en esta web. Hemos tenido variedad, con alimentos bien cocinados y la cantidad que puedas desear. No es un buffet extenso, ni falta que hace, con tal de que haya para elegir es suficiente. Pero lo mejor de todo es la ubicación del balneario. No se me podrán olvidar las montañas que lo circundan.

La comida no hace justicia a la categoría, Hemos estado tres días y han sido un suplicio a la hora de comer. La comida es de baja calidad , estamos en la tierra de las verduras y era todo congelado y sin ningún gusto a la hora de cocinarlo, todo estaba igual embutidos quesos postres incomibles . Creo que deberían estudiarlo por que esto les perjudica.Suban el precio y den mejor calidad

10 días con el IMSERSO, maravilloso tratamiento, los Barros son lo mejor, la comida buena, sana y sin fritura, varias, la fruta buena, el entorno maravilloso, de los mejores balnearios que he estado y son unos cuantos. El personal muy amable con todo el mundo, volveremos
