I really wanted to like this hotel, and, in fairness, it's "ok". But, just ok. Not great. I am currently here (last day), on a week's holiday with my best friend. We booked through Tui, and I'm pretty disappointed that we paid as much as we did, for an "all-inclusive" holiday. Pros: Communal areas are clean and tidy, including the pool areas. Staff are friendly and polite, and work hard. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers to go around. Beds are comfortable. The apartments are clean and well-furnished. Food is plentiful. Cons: Cockroaches! A cockroach was in my room the first night, and my friend had to save me. I get this is a hot country, but I also spotted a cockroach on the countertop where some of the food was laid out, in the restaurant, one evening. We also had to contend with another cockroach in the shower last night. There are only 4 pools, not 5, and none are heated. The water is VERY cold. The food is tepid, at best, and some very weird concoctions. (Frankfurters in some sort of mustard sauce, next to mashed potato, next to paella.) Most of the food didnt have any tag to advise of what it was, or what was in it, so it was impossible to know if it was vegan/vegetarian/allergies, etc. There is no free access to soft drinks, throughout the day. In order to get a soft drink, you would have to queue for the bar, and they only allow you to have two drinks at a time, (which is fine) but when you are queuing for 5 - 10 minutes at a time, just getting a soft drink to stay hydrated is a bit of a palaver. Additionally, the restaurant doesn't allow you to fill your water bottle up from the drinks dispenser in the restaurant. The "all-inclusive" cocktails are a spirit with a pre-mixed syrup added. Nothing freshly made or bespoke. All in all, after nearly a week here, I am MORE than ready to go home! I wanted to like this hotel, but won't be back.''
