There is nothing bad I can say about our stay at this hotel. The location is excellent everything you want is within a short walking distance. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the staff on reception went above and beyond to help me out with a boat trip I had booked through someone else, which was cancelled at the last minute. They tried very hard and succeeded in arranging another trip at very short notice, which meant so much to me as it was one of the highlights of the trip. Our room was at the back but still with nice views, the room itself was lovely with a very nice bathroom and huge walk in shower. There was everything you would want at breakfast, even a glass of prosecco if you wished. I usually went for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs but there was lots more to choose from, bacon, mushrooms, hams, cheeses, fruit, pastries, cereal, yoghurts ect and to top it off the room itself was beautiful and overlooked the lake. We ate in the restaurant on the first day and had an excellent meal, again with very helpful friendly staff. At the front of the hotel there is a terrace area where you can sit and enjoy drinks and snacks, a lovely area to enjoy pre dinner cocktails. I would highly recommend this hotel and Lake Como.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a memorable six night stay at Villa Flori. There’s so much to like about this hotel but the key for me is it’s lakeside position, with the road behind it, which gives uninterupted views across the lake and over to Como town. Breakfast in the garden at the water’s edge, watching the lake come to life with boats and wildlife and stunning mountainous scenery as a backdrop was a magical experience. The breakfast selection was excellent and the staff took care of every little detail to make sure our days started perfectly. Our top floor room was well laid out and comfortable with a bath and, most importantly, a balcony that gave us incredible, wide-angle, views over the lake. We enjoyed evenings just watching life go by on the water, rowers, seaplanes, birds and ferries all doing their thing as the sun set behind us. The location is superb as a base for exploring the area. Como town is 15 min walk mostly through garden parks and waterfront paths. There’s a ferry stop at Tavernola, a few mins walk north, which gives access to all the main towns and many smaller villages. You can also book a boat taxi to collect you at the hotel wharf, or travel by car, bicycle or bus. An all-round excellent hotel in unrivalled location with dedicated and professional staff. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Como (I hope we do).

The staff here truly made this stay amazing. My husband and I were eloping to Como and then continuing on our honeymoon during our stay here. That means we needed all of our shipping from Los Angeles organized for my wedding dress and my husbands suit, as well as all of our other clothing items that wouldn't continue the trip in our luggage. Francesco helped me every step of the way. When we checked in, he was ready with our shipment!! On the day of our check out, he was not working, but Cecelia was informed and made sure to take care of our return shipment. The two of them seriously took so much stress off of my plate. Barbara and Ermelinda were so attentive and kind at the front desk. They made check in and any questions we had so easy to take care of. Davide, Matteo, and Ali at the pool were hysterical and hospitable. The pool at this hotel was fantastic and these three made the time spent up there so welcoming. I wish I could have spent the whole trip up there. Sara on the Marketing team was the star of our stay. We needed an intimate place to take our first look photos and video shots because the weather wasn't panning out on that morning. She made it happen. She was kind, reasonable, and so creative. Without her, our elopement day would not have been so special. Thank you so much to the Hilton Lake Como team. (The hotel was also BEAUTIFUL with an amazing breakfast buffet. About a 20 minute walk into Como proper. Will definitely be returning!!)

Stayed here for 2 nights, for the price the room is great, comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Bathroom is fine, the shower is quite small so bear this in mind. Breakfast was great, lots of sweet options like pastries, tarts etc. Location was 5 minutes or less from the train station so very convenient and 5-10 mins from the ticket place to get the ferry to Bellagio. Overall the hotel was perfect for what wanted and great value for the price.

I stayed here for a few nights while working in Lugano Switzerland nearby. I thought the room was really good and clean and I had a nice balcony. The rate was very good. I liked that the hotel was a bit away from the city center, but a nice walk to the old walled city. I mapped 800M to the Porto Torre in the old city and 1.3 KM to the Cathedral by the lake. It felt like being in the real town of Como, not the fully tourist area. There is a really nice rooftop bar with a pool and I went there for drinks and had some decent food there also. I also had quite a nice breakfast buffet included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy walking, and they gave me an excellent map and directed me on a lovely walk around the lake to Cernnobio the next village over and I took a ferry back that was only 2.5 euros. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Como.

Piazza Vittoria houses this beautiful and oldest hotel in Como which is in a strategic position. Within a few minutes, one is able to walk through the historical centre full of shops, markets and restaurants. And, more importantly, you can reach Lake Como on foot within minutes too! In addition to the small quaint bar offering local beers and wines at nighttime, my wife and I enjoyed two very relaxing breakfasts on the outdoor patio next to the swimming pool bathed in the morning sun. However, ample shelter was provided by a beautifully shaped tree adding texture to the environment!

After spending time in Florence and Milan, dealing with not so friendly Italians, we were greeted with a friendly smile and positive attitude. This hotel is located in Como, very close to the lake, 3-5 min walk. The grounds have a beautiful pool, 4 restaurants on site and and overall excellent service. If you stay here, definitely go for breakfast as this hotel lives up to the Marriott standard. As a Titanium Elite member, the only negative was that I didn’t receive an upgrade to a suite, that being said, the hotel was at capacity- so no points loss. The rooms are well appointed, note no smart Tv, just over the air TV is available. When staying, definitely ask for higher floors and get a room with the pool view. Parking is reasonable at €18 per night. Overall, pleasantly surprised after dealing with rudeness.

WOW - this is just the most magnificent boutique hotel and a truly exceptional position. It’s super close to the lake AND shops AND restaurants - we only had a day and a half but I would gladly come back for a few days. One of our rooms had a window view directly our over the lake (302) and the other had a little balcony that offered views of the lake. (403) . I preferred the 302 room but my daughter said that it was a bit noisy due to the stream of cars. The rooms are comfy although I always dislike the joined single beds to create a king bed with a join. I always seem to end up stuck in the join (no matter how small the crack😂) The decor of the hotel is like a plush reminder of the 1930s - I felt like George Cluney might come round a corner at any moment. The building is superb and VERY picturesque. Service has been excellent and we feel very privileged. We have just finished breakfast in the most divine outdoor setting in the hotel grounds overlooking the lake. It is a bright blue sky and the wind is calm - I don’t think life gets much better than this.. Last night we dined at Ristorante Sottovoce which was a mere 100m away and absolutely as MUST do while staying at the perfect venue. “It’s such a shame we’re only here for one night” , my wife just said. But we still have a few hours to do a guided but tour with a private captain/guide - so there is still more special-ness to enjoy.

I had only 1 night, for a night I stayed at the hotel and ordered. This purpose the hotel worked perfectly. Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. Super-comfortable bed and good bed linen. I didn't understand the air conditioner myself, I had to ask on the recipe. The rails on the windows work a switch. Tea and refrigerator. Very soft, huge towel for the shower. Find the hotel easy, from the station straight with one turn of 10 minutes. Near the supermarket 24 hours. The city is small, so in general everything is close. From the downside - water in the shower is bad.

We stayed 15th-17th March, stayed in room 226 overlooking the road, the room was super clean, as was the bathroom, staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a mix of meat, cheese, bread and tea/coffee. i would sum up it was clean and comfortable, road was abit noisy but nothing terrible and it wouldn't stop me from staying there again. Had a wonderful stay. We only had a private economy room with a bunk bed and shared bathroom but it was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and simply but nicely decorated. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was incredible value for money and in terms of location it was hard to beat too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others too who are looking for simple yet affordable accommodation by Lake Como. Once again, I cannot emphasise enough how tidy and clean the accommodation was.

Firstly, communication was fantastic! WhatsApp was perfect for us in arranging meet up times. The apartment (bedroom w/cot for 3 adults, good size bathroom & shower and mini kitchen with table & chairs) was good size for us. He gave us quite a few recommendations for restaurants (though, this time of year not a whole lot of places with normal hours). He let us extend our check out since our train was at 1pm. The location was great, walkable to everywhere-train, docks, funicular, restaurants. There is a lift and it’s a quiet, nice building. We would definitely recommend this location!

I stayed at Avenue for one night at the end of a business trip. Como is only a 45 minute drive to Malpensa airport. I was a bit hesitant based on some reviews, but I can say that the hotel was fantastic! Room was super clean, and even had its own terrazzo to relax on. Room was on the small side, but very normal for Italy. Bathroom was clean and spacious. I don’t know where people had issues with noise, but my room was totally quiet the entire time. Only issue was that the safe wouldn’t open after I locked it. The staff came up immediately, and took some time to sort it out, but they got it done. They were incredibly nice (and apologetic, which wasn’t necessary). Ate dinner at the pizza shop around the corner that shared the patio right in front of the hotel. Food was great, and super convenient. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Don’t be fooled by the star rating of this hotel. We stayed for six nights and had an excellent time the staff without exception are very friendly and attentive. They readily share their knowledge of the local area when asked to do so giving little hints and tips that makes things just a little bit easier. The location of the hotel is fantastic a 10 minute walk to the shore of the lake, and a five minute walk to the main train station, making trips Into Milan and the surrounding area very easy. The room was spacious with an excellent bathroom. We stayed on the ground floor and had a small patio area. Pillows are a pet passion of mine and very much subject to personal preference. For me they were slightly firmer than I would like, but I am absolutely nitpicking here because I slept soundly! The bed was large and the room had a kettle. No fridge in the room but the bar is open 24 hours and we were able to get milk to make tea and coffee in the room. The breakfast is has a wide variety and an impressive machine where you can boil eggs jut to your personal taste. My husband would suggest an ice water bowl to help cool the eggs down again very nitpicking here. Wi-Fi was feee and excellent. We had a hire care and although there is no onsite parking, you can pull up at the front of the hotel to drop luggage and we always manage to get on street parking which you paid for by the hour within easy, walking distance of the hotel, only ever a couple of minutes away. Excellent location, in the center (it's a plus but also a penalty for the noise down the street until late at night, especially on weekends). But we must be honest, there is a lot to work on the structure ... Room sold as superior but the superiors are far from it. No TV in the room and this is serious for me if you sell a 'superior' for almost €100 a night. Bad soundproofing, you could also hear the snoring of the rooms next door ... Very inconvenient the fact that it is on a third floor without a lift and therefore only stairs, and at the end of the day it is really hard, impossible for families with prams or the handicapped. Poorly maintained entrance door on the street, it borders the service door of a restaurant / bar that gives off strong smells at all hours. Appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the water, but this does not enhance the structure itself. The bidet leaked, an air conditioner mounted on the kitchen hood with drain pipe in the sink of the same. For a room sold as a Superior at almost €100 a night I would say absolutely not...Ok the cleaning and telephone courtesy of the staff (I say telephone since we have never met the owners for obvious personal reasons, nor is there a reception). to say that they were very courteous in leaving the room for us even after check-out time without a supplement, truly a convenience for those who visit and then return before leaving.

The studio was located in the old town, 9 mins away by feet from the Saint Mary Assunta Cathedral and 12 mins away by feet from the ferries' piers. Excellent location, in the center (it's a plus but also a penalty for the noise down the street until late at night, especially on weekends). But we must be honest, there is a lot to work on the structure ... Room sold as superior but the superiors are far from it. No TV in the room and this is serious for me if you sell a 'superior' for almost €100 a night. Bad soundproofing, you could also hear the snoring of the rooms next door ... Very inconvenient the fact that it is on a third floor without a lift and therefore only stairs, and at the end of the day it is really hard, impossible for families with prams or the handicapped. Poorly maintained entrance door on the street, it borders the service door of a restaurant / bar that gives off strong smells at all hours. Appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the water, but this does not enhance the structure itself. The bidet leaked, an air conditioner mounted on the kitchen hood with drain pipe in the sink of the same. For a room sold as a Superior at almost €100 a night I would say absolutely not...Ok the cleaning and telephone courtesy of the staff (I say telephone since we have never met the owners for obvious personal reasons, nor is there a reception). to say that they were very courteous in leaving the room for us even after check-out time without a supplement, truly a convenience for those who visit and then return before leaving.

In addition to the small quaint bar offering local beers and wines at nighttime, my wife and I enjoyed two very relaxing breakfasts on the outdoor patio next to the swimming pool bathed in the morning sun. Perfect location, you can then take a bus journey to the lighthouse The views are to die for. The hotel is lovely, basic but lovely. I stayed here for a few nights while working in Lugano Switzerland nearby. I thought the room was really good and clean and I had a nice balcony. The rate was very good. I liked that the hotel was a bit away from the city center, but a nice walk to the old walled city. I mapped 800M to the Porto Torre in the old city and 1.3 KM to the Cathedral by the lake. It felt like being in the real town of Como, not the fully tourist area. There is a really nice rooftop bar with a pool and I went there for drinks and had some decent food there also. I also had quite a nice breakfast buffet included. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy walking, and they gave me an excellent map and directed me on a lovely walk around the lake to Cernnobio the next village over and I took a ferry back that was only 2.5 euros. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Como.

Firstly, communication was fantastic! WhatsApp was perfect for us in arranging meet up times. The apartment (bedroom w/cot for 3 adults, good size bathroom & shower and mini kitchen with table & chairs) was good size for us. He gave us quite a few recommendations for restaurants (though, this time of year not a whole lot of places with normal hours). He let us extend our check out since our train was at 1pm. The location was great, walkable to everywhere-train, docks, funicular, restaurants. There is a lift and it’s a quiet, nice building. We would definitely recommend this location!

The staff here truly made this stay amazing. My husband and I were eloping to Como and then continuing on our honeymoon during our stay here. That means we needed all of our shipping from Los Angeles organized for my wedding dress and my husbands suit, as well as all of our other clothing items that wouldn't continue the trip in our luggage. Francesco helped me every step of the way. When we checked in, he was ready with our shipment!! On the day of our check out, he was not working, but Cecelia was informed and made sure to take care of our return shipment. The two of them seriously took so much stress off of my plate. Barbara and Ermelinda were so attentive and kind at the front desk. They made check in and any questions we had so easy to take care of. Davide, Matteo, and Ali at the pool were hysterical and hospitable. The pool at this hotel was fantastic and these three made the time spent up there so welcoming. I wish I could have spent the whole trip up there. Sara on the Marketing team was the star of our stay. We needed an intimate place to take our first look photos and video shots because the weather wasn't panning out on that morning. She made it happen. She was kind, reasonable, and so creative. Without her, our elopement day would not have been so special. Thank you so much to the Hilton Lake Como team. (The hotel was also BEAUTIFUL with an amazing breakfast buffet. About a 20 minute walk into Como proper. Will definitely be returning!!)
