The hotel was good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel is located next to a metro station, the nearest entrance was closed, requiring a detour over a bridge (a 10-15 minute walk). While it's in the Compton area, the hotel is surrounded by warehouses, so it doesn't feel particularly dangerous. However, if you're returning by metro at night, you might encounter some 'folded homeless people' and 'strange observers' on the bridge. The room itself is quite spacious, and the breakfast is very generous. It offers good value for money.

The room features Chinese-style decor, which felt very familiar, reminiscent of back home, and there are even reminders written in Chinese. We occasionally met a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, making communication easy. Right behind the hotel, there are a few supermarkets like Target for daily necessities, and you can just drive right over. Located near a highway, parking is free and very secure. It's not too far from the airport, making it a great spot to stay for a night before catching a flight.

The room was generally clean, and the check-in process was smooth. If you're not overly concerned about the newness of the hotel facilities and prioritize location and convenience, this hotel is a good option. Overall, it's a hotel with a great location but older facilities, offering decent value for money.

Overall, it was decent. However, the price wasn't low. I booked this for my first stop in advance because my flight arrived very late. This hotel was relatively closer, about a 30-minute drive away.

The hotel is quite old, but it's relatively close to the airport. The shower pressure isn't great, and breakfast is mainly carbs, though the waffles are good. Be careful walking around this area at night, as you have to go all the way around to get to the subway station, and you might encounter homeless people on the street.

I arrived at midnight, checked in, was given a free upgrade to the suite. The bed was very comfortable. The room was super clean. It had a wonderful view of the California mountains. The only downfall, they’re under construction right now and they turn the water off between the hours of 5 AM and 7 AM to work on it. Had to get up early to get to the airport and had to use bottled water at that time. Construction won’t go on forever, but just keep that in mind for now. Location is nice. It’s only 20 minutes from LAX airport. It was easy getting to and from the airport by Uber.
