Complex Turistic Magura

Following a telephone reservation on 03.03.06 at Complex Magura, the availability and reservation of 2 superior double rooms were confirmed. On 06.03.25 (2 days before the check-in date) I was called to confirm the reservation, but only for one of the 2 rooms requested. According to discussions with Complex, an operating (human) error occurred in the reservation (recognized by the complex). No solution was offered to the situation, motivated by the fact that online reservations take precedence over telephone reservations, which is why I will no longer request complex services. The reservation and customer relations system is extremely deficient.

I had the most delightful Easter holiday at this location in 2024! Everything exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, spacious, and felt more like 4-star rather than the advertised 3-star quality. The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The spacious terrace and green spaces added to the charm of the place. Highly recommended for a wonderful getaway!

The complex is terraced and you enter from one side and you realize that for the reception you have to go up and down another 100 steps and stairs... It doesn't have an inner courtyard, you can walk for a maximum of a minute, although it has some nice gazebos. In fact... you don't really have anything to do in the location. Just to eat. And to go to the on-site Spa, where you have to pay 40 lei if you are staying at the hotel and 70 lei if you are coming from elsewhere. It's full of Salam and Guță. Early in the morning the dogs are barking really loud... a kind of alarm clock. The room is generally ok, I have nothing to comment on it, it was clean. You don't have a view of the Buzăului valley... all the rooms have a courtyard or side view. At the restaurant I found good food, good prices, kind and attentive staff, clean bathrooms. The problem is the restaurant's guests, some of them have a questionable education and kind of spoil the atmosphere with their high toned manele on the phone speaker and idle discussions. Others laugh like crazy at some pictures on the phone and that lasts half an hour... I'll never come again.

We really liked the complex. It has SPA, tennis court, a nice garden and 2 playgrounds for kids (one inside and one outside). The stuff was friendly and nice. The complex has 2 restaurants and many terraces. The prices are fine and the food is tasty. We will come back!
