I rarely write reviews but wanted to about The Mystery as it was such a nice place. Decor is fantastic, staff are friendly, the rooftop pool and bar are just perfect after a day's biking, hiking or just laying on the beach. If you get an end room they have a little outdoor shower which was cool. Right in town so perfect for wandering. Oh, and good breakfast. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great small-scale Designerhotel on the outskirts of Con Dao town. Nice rooms, clean ,spacious, great bed and bathroom. Extremely clean hotel, sumptious breakfast ( YUMMY) Nice rooftoppool. Very helpful,friendly staff and management. Good place to also rent a motorbike/scooter to get around the island.

The hotel is well located, in a quiet street not far from the beaches and supermarkets, surrounded by restaurants and the night market. The interior is decorated with great taste, the photo frames of Côn Dao and Saigon of yesteryear add to the decor. The room is well equipped and clean. The buffet is appetizing and varied. On the terrace, the bar is pleasant and the whirlpool pool is relaxing. The staff is friendly and attentive. Just 2 things to review: - More room access cards would be desirable if necessary. - We often hear the barking of dogs throughout much of the night.

We never post reviews but we do so to warn future customers. We do not want to gratuitously criticize the hotel which is very beautiful. Sleep: 0/5 - Incessant barking of dogs in the street!!!!! Over 4 nights, woken up at least twice each night in the middle of the night. Noise from people at 6 a.m. (music, machines, etc.) -＞ very poor window insulation, acoustic sieve We did not rest…. Acoustics in general: 0/5 We hear everything... even interior noises Staff OK but no information given on the island. Disinterest. Do not recommend for this price. $300 for 4 nights… If you go there anyway. Ask for a room that does not face the street.
