Domaine de la Belle Normandie

For one night, we stayed in the small house on the left side of the property. From the outside, the cottage seemed rather welcoming, but inside, it was a DISAPPOINTMENT. The accommodation was extremely dirty, with dust everywhere, cobwebs, dead insects, and mold. The kitchen was dirty (microwave, sink, and inside the fridge had moldy food). We even decided not to shower or use the bathroom at all. For "PRESTIGE" accommodation, this is not acceptable. The next morning, the owner came to bring us breakfast. I told him about these remarks and showed them to him, but he remained unperturbed and only mentioned that he would check with the cleaning lady, but I very much doubt that a cleaning lady would take care of this small house. In any case, there was no goodwill gesture; we paid €90. We will not be back.

The name of the room is New York, interior decor on the city of New York with paper panels that you find in trinket shops and which do not correspond to the style of a prestigious mansion. At 10 p.m.; I could not connect to the wifi service, because the owner had turned off the connection. Several shards in the sink, no godet to rinse the mouth, yet this is found in all hotels even cheap ones. For a mansion it leaves something to be desired! The cleanliness is average (note: dust on the bedside lamp). The bed is patched up with boards to support the slats that were broken. At breakfast I spoke to the owner about the boards that support the bed, he explained to me that travelers had fornicated in this bed. The slats were broken. I also spoke about the problem of wifi connection. Around 10 p.m. I wanted to connect to the wifi with the code written on the small desk in the room (impossible). Because of this, he told me he had cut the connection. It was at breakfast that I was able to read my messages. Then, I found myself alone, when it was time to leave I called the owner several times, I don't know where he was because I insisted out loud. I wanted to tell him about my dissatisfaction with the reception conditions and the bed and see a solution with him. Very disappointed with the reception and the sleeping conditions. Dishonest of the manager to make a customer sleep in a broken bed. No compensation. I didn't like anything

To begin with, no one was there to welcome us. We had rented the cottage for 4 people but we were very disappointed, firstly by the cleaning that had not been done, cobwebs in every corner, next to the beds and the dishes in a pitiful state, the cottage is dilapidated and smells of mold. Secondly, the front door does not even lock, and the electricity is not up to standard. In addition, the owner is unpleasant and allows himself to insult his customers. The only positive point is the sports facility and its geographical location. The price is exaggerated compared to the service. I strongly advise against it.

Nous venons de passer une semaine au Manoir de Condé chez Virgile et Sylvie, charmant hébergement nature pour notre semaine de randonnée. Quel bonheur de profiter du jacuzzi après notre journée de marche ! Super accueil de Virgile et de sa femme. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Tout est propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Si je retourne à Condé je reloue chez eux. Les excursions proposées par les propriétaires étaient top et très agréables. A refaire.
