This is a lovely, relaxed hotel. Spotlessly clean, lits of attentive and friendly staff who all who hard. The Salamar restaurant was the best for lunch and should be open for dinner too as lovely food and surroundings. My room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The Sweet Dreams sweets that were brought in at turn down (melatonin infused?) are a great touch too. There are more sunbeds than people and that stops that hideous practice of people getting up early and reserving beds. As an all inclusive guest I wrongly assumed the mini bar was free due to their being no price list or information about it in the room. Was surprised with a hefty bill on check out. I was obviously not happy about that.

What a joy it was to stay with you. We came home completely relaxed. And what a treat by all your oh so friendly staff. I suspect they rated themselves, as this wasn't a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Check-in the girl didn't speak English (Luckily we speak German). No instructions or advice given. Breakfast was average, certainly not what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel (and it was expensive). Took a room with shared swim-up pool, which cost extra, but the water was so cold nobody could swim in it. Okay, it was the 2nd half of October, but this didn't stop them from charging extra. Beach hotel, but after a 10 minutes walk to the beach, we found no sunbeds or facilities. Sorry, but price was €200 night and a claimed 5 star beach hotel - we expected more! I asked if I could gain access to the parking so I could use the EV chargers. First member of staff wanted €11 for parking and the charging cost extra. Another guy understood I only wanted 2-3 hours to charge and gave me free access. I counted 8 EV chargers - only 1 was operational (5 star hotel?). It took me 1 hour to download and register on the 3rd party app! (5 star hotel?), After complaining I was sent a voucher for 2 cocktails which we were unable to use as it was our last night. I've never been charged for electricity in any other 5 star hotel, especially in southern Europe when they have PV on the roof! You need cards to exchange for towels, which doesn't open until 11am. Poolside umbrellas are not big enough, and you have to open them yourself (5 star hotel?) and they were not easy to manage. They at least have poolside drinks service. Really disappointing experience and one we will not be repeating.

First visit to this hotel but will definitely return. Immaculately clean in all areas. Restaurants fantastic, especially the buffet starters and desserts in Roots and Origins Breakfast buffet has to be one of the best ever and we have tried many around the world. Access to the beach was just a short walk through the garden and across a road, what a super beach, spotless and clean and ideal for a morning walk. Staff in the hotel were super and though not much English spoken we always managed to converse with a smile. The hotel also has just the best sunset view from the roof top bar. Already looking forward to a return visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Conil de la Frontera. We chose the Daia Slow Beach Hotel - what a hotel! Fabulous service, food, cleanliness and location. All staff were so helpful, we enjoyed the drinks service to our loungers. The hotel is on the beach, with wonderful sunsets, and an easy walk into town for restaurants or alternatively near the really good beach restaurants. We hope to return!

We have just returned from a fabulous two weeks holiday at the slow daia conil ,in fact we had such a good time that we have booked to go again next year.All of the staff were absolutely brilliant.The rooms so comfortable I can't recommend this hotel enough Lesley Hignett

Absolutely fabulous hotel, we stayed 7 nights & had breakfast dinner. The breakfast was so substantial, anything available including cava & cakes galore. They had egg station for all kinds of eggs. Coffee lovely & they accommodated my oat milk requested no problem. The dinner was lovely & did change each night. The starter & desert are buffet and the mains you order from menus. We alternated dinner nights in Origin & roots, pizza fab, fish grilled beautiful & my husband enjoyed the steak. We had side sea swim up room but this was the only dissapointment, the room was lovely but the swim up pool was ice cold as the side of our pool remained in shade until late evening. We didn't use it at all & mistakenly believed it was connected to main pool. The front facing swim up are better option if you want this. The pool itself was fab & plenty of comfort on the loungers. We never had an issue despite being busy time. One recommendation is to include some other options for prossecco or cava, they just had two options from menu. The staff were very attentive & really lovely. You can order food drinks poolside & we were never waiting although all the extras do add up when charging to room. Conil itself is sweet and a lovely town. I would return & definitely recommend 👌

The most chilled experience we've ever had in a hotel. Not cheap but it's a wonderful oasis away from the craziness of August in Spain. Beautifully decorated, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, restaurants are quality, rooms are amazing and there are plenty of sunbeds for everyone at the pool. Well thought through with a clear emphasis on creating the most pleasant user experience possible and brilliantly executed. And of course, so close to the fantastic beach and lively town centre. Can't wait to go back.
