"The hotel is in the lake area, the surrounding environment is very good, but it should be self-driving. About 100 meters below the hotel is a commercial street in the village. There are food and drink. The hotel also has a restaurant. The scenery is good, but the price is more expensive and the taste is the average British. The parent-child room is small in size, but there are two beds and the scenery outside the large windows is good. There are several lakes nearby, which can be recommended for bean bags. There is also an old bar below the hotel, which is also a century-old bar."

"Absolutely outstanding stay at the Bank Ground . We were here over the new year period . The location is stunning just overlooking the Coniston Lake and The Old Man of Coniston right up front ! Most of us didn’t bother getting out since the location was so brilliant 😊 The property itself was beautifully maintained . Rustic yet modern ! Jonathon and his team were very efficient and responsive. One of the families that stayed with us has already decided to make this their summer holiday destination too .
