Parkside Motel by OYO Meadville Conneaut Lake

Another blunder! Got to hotel and they had no reservation for us. Hotel was full. We didn’t stay and I got charged.

I would love to leave a stay review but we did not get that chance. Upon arrival- the lady said they didnt have our reservation and they were sold out for the weekend because we didnt call 24 hours ahead of time and prepay- it said nothing about that on *******. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a trend. They offered us to stay friday night and to play it by ear on saturday which did not go over well for the rest of the family so we ended up leaving which ruined the 4th of july plans. The rate they did offer for friday night was more expensive than the ******* price. I believe they are trying to scam people by doing this then charging more. You dont have to affiliate with online booking by choice but you choose to then dont honor it. I will say the manager mary was very nice.

The nice lady that works there very sweet and extremely helpful and very hardworking The hotel is near the lake and some other attractions even though Conneut lake park is not quite the same they had some activities down there if you have a boat it would be ideal for the sea worthy person but down the road there is where you can rent boats if needed We went to the museum it was free very interesting pieces and history but as for the hotel I would go back

The best way I can describe my visit is it was like staying at Grandma's house/cabin. The style and interior is kinda 1950-ish, with the exception of the television, which was digital. The person in charge was an amazing woman named Mary! She is friendly, caring, and an extremely knowledgeable person! I hope when I come back next year, Mary will still be the caretaker.

The room was NOT clean, sheets were dirty, as well as sheets. Heater didn't work, flies in the room, I paided for a studio king bed, when I arrived I was informed room was not available any longer. I was provided a two twin bed. I asked for a refund, which I was decline, I have to contacted ******* the same way I booked and paided. In addition, no one available at front desk. you had to call a number and then someone will come at front. Very very disappointed

Had wonderful Mary any time you needed anything

Traveled late at night. Paid 500.00 on my credit card for 22nd December tru December 28. Spent 2 hours looking for pet friendly hotel. After traveling til 11:30 at night to get to my paid for room. I WAS TOLD NO CAT!. .the older woman running hotel was rude and told me to go elsware with my cat. I am a 59 year old single woman who spent my birthday..December 23 sleeing in my car at a truck stop in the middle of snowstorm.. not a very pleasurable experience. Would not recommend.
