First Interstate Inn
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Douglas by IHG
"This Hotel felt very run down for the cost. The young girl checking us in acted as if she had better things do do than help us. As to be almost expected these days. We were on the 2nd floor, no elevators, maybe if she asks maintenance they can find time to help with our bags. But we didn’t want to wait. Me with Stage 4 terminal cancer and my husband is 68, we were really read to chill in our room."
Budget Inn Express Douglas
Super 8 by Wyndham Douglas, WY
"For the price it was good. Room was small but serviceable. Staff was very friendly and helpful."
Hotel LaBonte
Hampton Inn & Suites Douglas
"I agree miscommunication with staff. Others, have posted this also. One staff says this and another says that. Absolutely, not a hotel I would ever give a good rating. Like others say go to another hotel. I am glad I cancelled and went elsewhere and saved money. This hotel has to improve and I am a hiltons honors guest."
Travelodge by Wyndham Bill WY Thunder Basin Ntl Grassland
"Not a bad place but know what you’re getting into. A hotel built for train employees to sleep at. It’s in the middle of nowhere so make sure you have everything you need before making your way to the hotel. Check in was through the diner which is at the front of the hotel. Staff was nice enough at check in Room was clean but small. Beds were pretty comfortable. It was very quiet. Almost creepily quiet. Going outside can seem a bit eerie at night but the property is well lit on all sides. There is a Union Pacific crew break room on site. Looked nice but I could only see through the window. WiFi and satellite tv worked surprisingly well considering remoteness. We had dinner at the diner. It was tasty; similar to Waffle House. Dinner for two with juice was $33. Some folks complained online it was pricy but I suppose I’m use to that type of pricing back home in Denver. Loved the playful sass and banter from the employees. Our cook (who doubled as the hotel front desk) asked us to not order anything difficult to make. Ha! She confirmed our orders were simple enough. If you’re passing through, I’d recommend a stop here. Just know you’re limited to food from a diner and vending machine. (Odd item in the vending machine next to the candy: canned fish?)"
