📍 Deganwy Quay, Deganwy, Conwy

"Our room was very spacious with a huge bed , 2 comfy chairs & table and a balcony ( also with 2 chairs and a rable) The bathroom was very spacious and spotless Spa facilities were fabulous and included a pool , jacussi , sauna , steam room , infra red spa and an holistic room to relax Breakfast very good and the bar area has beautiful views looking across at Conwy . Caught a train into Llandudno ( under £2) and station is about 6 minutes walk from the hotel You can also walk to Conwy which takes about 25 minutes Would definitely stay there again"

YHA Conwy ★★

📍 Sychnant Pass Rd, Larkhill, Conwy

"Another great YHA. We had a brilliant couple of days here as a group of three families. Rooms are clean and showers brilliant. Views from all the social spaces are fabulous. Big self catering kitchen and grounds for kids to entertain themselves in. It looks a little shabby from the outside but don't let this put you off. Quick walk down into Conwy, which is a lovely little town with a great beach with free parking. Slightly longer walk back up the fairly steep hill but you get used to it quickly. We'll definitely be back to explore more. "

Number 18

Number 18 ★★★★

📍 18 Rose Hill St, Conwy

"Stayed at Number 18 as a surprise anniversary / birthday stay for my wife ...and genuinely couldn't have made a better choice. Bedecked throughout with mid-century curios and collectables - there literally isn't anything in there that isn't themed / styled to their (and our!) taste...... The host Melissa was a delight - and sitting enjoying the delicious contents of the breakfast basket in the shadow of the castle walls was a great way to celebrate our special occasion(s). A splendid, characterful and unique B&B Already planning a return next year."

YHA Conwy ★★
"We stayed at YHA Conwy for 4 nights during the summer holidays. It is in a lovely location (albeit up a steep hill). The staff were all really helpful and friendly. We stayed in a private room which was nice however, even with the windows open, it was soooooo hot!!! Thankfully staff did have a fan we could use. My only let down was that the room we were allocated didn't have the nice beds you see in the pictures. It was two wooden bunkbeds which made a lot of noise if someone was moving/tossing and turning on the top bunk. Noise loud enough to wake the rest of the room up. We ended up moving the mattresses from the top onto the floor. This worked and everyone got a good nights sleep (apart from the heat)."

Number 18 ★★★★
"Loved the quirky and eccentric decor. Bed was not a US king, bathroom was tight. Bed was firm, husband really liked that. Breakfast served in room. Host was friendly, greeted us at check in and check out, otherwise was rather hand off. If you don't like a host hovering around you, this is the place to you."

The Erskine Arms ★★★★
"A very cozy hotel, it seems to be a chain hotel in the Wales area. It has a white appearance and is clean and refreshing. When I arrived, one of the three free parking spaces across the road from the hotel happened to be vacant. Park and follow the hotel. Ask at the front desk - although it is not the time to check in at 3pm, you can park your car and use the toilet; it is very close to Conwy Castle and the city wall. I visited the castle first and then walked back to the hotel along the city wall to check in and check in. The front desk was white The young man enthusiastically helped us carry our two suitcases up the narrow wooden stairs covered with thick blankets; the curtains were made of Welsh pure wool plaid; the bathroom had white tiles, the toilet seat had wooden washers, and the bedding was made of pure cotton. There is a plaid, thick lip blanket, breakfast is served and you can order it by yourself; coffee is served from a pot on the table, and you can help yourself with juice. The next morning after dinner, we walked around the city wall and the center of the town."
