"If you stay more than 2 nights be prepared to bring toilet rolls, dish detergent, laundry detergent, dishwasher machine detergent, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee pods, oil, vinegar, flour in fact all the pantry items most apartments supply for self catering guests. This is more motel style, measly little sachets of detergents, no extra loo rolls, a few t bags and sugar sachets and no condiments at all. The vintage kitchen equipment made me quite nostalgic."

"Unfortunately we were allocated an apartment right opposite the construction site on Hill Street. Woken every morning except Sunday at 0600 hrs by very loud construction noise which continued all day. This is no fault of the apartment managers. The rooms were quite dated but okay. The standard of cleanliness was average...no extra rubbish bags were provided until we asked for some. I think we were unlucky in that we were subject to the the construction noise. Normally this place would be adequate. Position wise it is good. I would have preferred a sunnier balcony. Not sure I would recommend."

"We stayed one week in apartment 507, a three bedroom, two bathroom unit. The unit had everything you need for your home away from home. The onsite managers were great, both before our stay and during. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. We will be back!"

"Beautiful views, usually see dolphins and sometimes whales and can see all the way to Surfers Paradise. Friendly staff and apartments are well equipped for cooking for a family. Location can’t be beat, grocery shop, Timezone and movies just down the lift, beach and park across the road. We have had a holiday here annually for over 15 years and will be back again next year."

"Staying at the Marcoola Ramada Wyndam resort, lovely tree lined walkway to beach. We’re in a hotel style room with a small balcony for 6 nights.it’s small and pokey but thank goodness for the balcony. It’s an older style hotel but clean, tidy & the staff are very friendly & helpful. Lovely hotel pool quite close to the Bar & Bistro, where the snacks & meals have been very good. Only disappointment would be the room allocation for 6 nights, a bit cramped but otherwise we have made the best of the situation."

"Great apartment for couples or families 1 block back from the beach and has 2 great pools and many other facilities. Apartment was well equipped with everything you could need if you want to cook for yourself otherwise there are loads of restaurants, cafes and surf clubs on your door step. The lovely staff were helpful and friendly. We'd go back to Beachcomber. "
