Stayed for one night with my son. The location is good - you can enjoy a nice walk to the beach and shops. The Anzac walk is spectacular and easily accessible. Service was good and I had no hassle with check in. Clean and had everything we needed for one night. The absence of wifi was a slight hassle as I had to work and got spotting to my phone was not reliable.

Be very careful. Terrible service and very bad wine. Bought a $9 bottle of wine which was not very good, (yes, what can you expect) but it was obviously off. Rude staff (manager, owner?) Customer service not important here.

When I arrived there was a no vacancy sign … I still called the number and I was lucky enough that someone had cancelled. I had driven from Rockhampton- this was on my right coming into town. The room is basic and priced accordingly. It was clean with everything you had in the 1970s. Value reflects this. The mattress was quite firm as were the pillows. The location is really quiet. The outstanding feature of the motel is the level of service.

This is without doubt the best value for money Motel we have come across between Sydney and our home at Mission Beach. Do not judge it by the outside appearance, the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed and at $85 exceptional value. A well informed welcome part of the book in, close to shops even though a little uphill if you walk back
