Lovely family-owned boutique lodge with only 8 rooms. Fantastic service and attention. Nice rooms, although be ready to climb stairs!! Pretty Mayan woven rug and embroidered artwork. A/C available but did not need. Surrounded with nature. Nice pool. Great bar area with sunset views. Delightful staff. Mayan food options (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on the menu in the restaurant were delicious!! Drinks were very good. A nice hiking trail to actual Mayan "sapo" (frog) rocks on site. Absolutely LOVED our stay here and would definitely come back and also recommend to friends.

Beautiful place to stay. It was relaxing, clean surrounded by natured. The staff is excellent .
Soft beds and pillows. Infinity pool surrounded with gorgeous views.

What an amazing place! The owners took such good care of us. The property is rustic and beautiful. The birds in the area are really neat. I highly recommend staying at Hacienda San Lucas.

What an amazing place! The property has an incredible view of the Copan valley and has been in the same family for over a hundred years. The owners treated us like their special guests. They arranged for us to have the best guide at the ruins and then personally drove us there. It was peaceful and magical. So much better than staying in town.

Beautiful location. Very well maintained. Fantastic views. Great deck to watch the valley and the river. Comfortable rooms. Agreeable pool. On the other hand: for Honduras quite expensive, both stay and dinner (dinnerprices are exclusive of taxes) and that raises a certain level of expectation. I think service could be more adequate. Although there were not too many guests, it took quite a while to get our coffee/breakfast. And do not hurry op guests if the kitchen will close in a while (we realise ourselves that we shall not turn up for dinner e.g. at 20.25 if it closes at 20.30). You can walk to Copan but it s quite a walk (but we knew that in advance). We had a pleasant time.

Best bar in town now! Can not imagine the work needed to keep this magical place open😍 seriously amazing and thank you all. Just the work you all do to make a cocktail on that view 😳 thanks to all.

This is quite a simple place with good food served by friendly staff. THere are many day visitors which disturbs the bird-watching. They put out food so you can get good views of scarlet macaws, jays and woodpeckers.
