Hotel Amager

We booked a room via booking.com in one year advance. The day before arrival a notification came that my card was rejected and advance payment did not work. I updated my credit card info twice and it was still rejected. I used this card succesfully several times before in hotels and payment was always flawless. Balance, payment limits were perfectly set, and my bank does not know any attemts of money withdrawal. So, after the second rejection a notification came, that my reservation was cancelled while we were on our way to Denmark. Immediatel after this notification, while traveling, we wrote emails to the reception, tried to call them (phone number did not work) and wrote them on messenger. No answer came. On arrival I have met at least five other angry and disaappointed travellers who ran into very similar problems we did. The receptionist first told me that our room was already given to someone else and there are no free rooms left. Then he ”suddenly” found a free room, but for double the price which could only be paid in cash. We paid for it (miraculously my card worked for taking the cash from the ATM). Took the room but were kicked out from there some two hours later. First they told us that we get another room, but they just gave me back the money and kicked us out to the street. We were lucky enough to find another hotel that night, but I will never return to this place and I don't recommend you to do it either.
CPH Studio Hotel

When I came to re-booking my accommodation in Copenhagen after a cancelled covid trip, the original hotel was not available and came across CPH Studio Hotel which was within by budget. I was a little apprehensive as I did not know the city but I was just perfect. Arriving at CPH airport - just hop on the yellow metro line 2 to either Amager Strand or Oresund (5 mins on metro) and then it is a 5 min stroll to the hotel. Staff were super friendly at check-in. The rooms is exactly as advertised - small and compact but with everything you need. A comfy bed, small kitchen area with a large fridge (a really bonus) and tiny toilet but with a great shower. I really do not see what else you could possibly need. We spend little time in a hotel rooms when travelling as are out and about exploring. The huge bonus, as others have mentioned, is the rooftop terrace which overlooks the bridge to Sweden. It is a short walk from the beach area with a few restaurants / bars but just 10 mins back on the metro to the centre of Copenhagen. Would stay here again and that is the best recommendation.
Best Western Plus Park Globetrotter Copenhagen Airport

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of July for 4 nights as I was here to do a charity bike ride. The hotel is only 10 mins from the airport on the metro and a 2 min walk from the metro entrance. That’s as good as it gets. The reception desk staff are anything from very helpful to almost hostile depending on which one you get. The first room we were given was extremely hot as the sun had been on it all day and the air con was off. We turned on the air con but that was a waste of time so my wife went downstairs and asked that we were given a different room. The reception desk lady rather sternly said there were no more rooms but she would send the engineer up to have a look. An hour later and nothing by which time the room felt like a sauna. We then decided to go out in to the city for something to eat but stopped at reception on the way out. I asked about the air con and was told that the engineer had checked it and everything was ok. At this point I got some what agitated as this was not the case The air con was merely circulating warm air and I insisted we were given a new room. The receptionist agreed that we could change room when we came back from dinner. This we did. However considering the price of the rooms they are very over priced. The carpet was stained with what looked like bleach in various places and the shelving unit was covered in dust on the top shelf where I’m guessing the height of the housekeepers plays a part !! The hotel is situated conveniently for the city as you are no more than 10-15 mins from most of the main parts by metro which is only £2.50 each (one way) The breakfast was on but nothing to get excited about. There is a Netto supermarket directly opposite the hotel, so don’t buy the over priced water from reception. I would not stay here again as it do not believe it represents good value for money. It is tired and the rooms and public spaces need some re-decoration. And the reception staff need to listen to customers and accept that we are paying guests no matter how unhappy they maybe with their lot !
Go Hotel City

The Go City Hotel Copenhagen was conveniently located for our visit to Copenhagen. The big plus was that we got a room we requested. The hotel itself is functional, tidy and clean. I hate the separate double bed, its so European and unromantic. Check out and bar staff were very nice, polite and helpful. The same can't said about the lady at check-in. She was grumpy and not welcoming. Not a good look for any hotel.
By the Beach - into This Place

Very good, very good, except that the location is on the first floor of the building, all glass is a bit insecure, there is a little softness of the bed, the others are very good, remember to check your email before check in, check email! check email! check email! very important! Because there is no front desk, I completely rely on the email to know the room number and secret! Surrounded by supermarkets and a delicious Japanese meal. The space is large, comfortable and convenient!

Good day to everyone! It is a pity that this hostel can't be set 6 stars :) The best hostel where I was (and was a lot of where). The staffer was very polite and kind. Settled in a couple of minutes. Apart from you, we have found the opportunity to settle 2 hours before the time!!!! In the hostel not just clean, but super clean! Everywhere! In rooms, in places of common use. Rooms are good, not small, there are towels, slippers, lots of rosetries, good lighting, clean clothes, temperature adjustment. Toilet and shower right opposite the room, go 2 steps. No queues as wc is a lot. In the hostel type, you can not hear the neighbors walk and noise from the street. In the kitchen you can make tea (there is a teapot, cup, different tea). From the subway to go a couple minutes, the sign is noticeable. I advise everyone this hostel, we are delighted!
