Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife

Location: The hotel is highly praised for its prime location along the seafront, offering stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions like Costa Adeje.

We stayed at the RIU for 11 nights in July for a family holiday with my parents and 8 year old son. The hotel is maintained to high standards and kept beautifully clean at all times. Staff work incredibly hard and are friendly but professional and always pleasant and happy to help. Bedrooms are lovely and clean and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are also lovely, clean and spacious. Pool areas are clean and the pool, bar and waiting staff provide an excellent service throughout the day. There was the usual struggle to get pool beds if you needed more than a couple but there were always some available otherwise. The adult only infinity pool is a nice place to relax and swim although we spent our days at the main pool with the little one. The food was tasty and plentiful and there was always something for everyone. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it’s in a quieter location and a pleasant walk along the seafront promenade to Costa adeje or the quieter La Caleta. The entertainment was ok although not all shows were of a standard you might expect in a hotel like this although I would say that the audience seemed a tough act to engage most nights! The only thing I would say that the hotel could improve on is becoming a little more child friendly as there’s no real focus on children or families either in terms of facilities or activity. Overall though, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel and will return for another visit in the future.

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. Hotel had lots of variety breakfast and dinner which changed day to day and if I were to be picky or suggest improvement, it would be free water at the hotel or in the hotel room.
