Apartamentos Parque del Sol

We are traveling with our 8 months old baby. They prepared the baby crib when we check in. We booked half-board meal included, bfast and dinner. The service at the restaurant was fantastic.

This is a very nice hotel located in the upscale district of Costa Adeje. + location is great + heated swimming pool, water temp +24C, very comfortable + big spacious rooms with a kitchen, all necessary kitchen utensils + very friendly staff + good cleaning - WiFi did not work well in rooms, sometimes did not work in public areas - long queues for dinner, sometimes waiting time up to 10 minutes - some bathroom thinds need to be repaired. In our bathroom shower holder was broken, soap holder was broken too. Minor thing but pisses off when you take shower

We chose these apartments because we are familiar with the location and we weren’t disappointed, great for all the beachfront bars and restaurants. However, I did email the hotel about 1 week before we arrived asking for a room on an upper floor as I never feel totally safe on the ground floor, didn’t even receive an acknowledgement to my email and ended up in ground floor which wasn’t what I wanted. Faced onto main road so not really nice sitting on the open terrace. Room was fine, kept clean enough. Had to pay €4 per day for a safe which I think is steep! We were half board but only had evening meal the night we arrived. Service is quite late so if you have small children could be too late. Breakfast was fine no issues there. Access to the restaurant was down stairs so not great for people with pushchairs or mobility issues. Pool area was quite tight but never had any issues getting a sunbed but not sure what it would be like during school holidays, pool was lovely and warm probably the warmest pool I’ve been in, plenty of inflatables to use that had been left behind. Tiled flooring around pool very slippy, witnessed a few people slipping. Quite a lot of broken tiles too! Saw quite a few items left lying about for days ie. Towels, shoes and even empty beer cans, should have been removed by hotel staff. Pool bar not bad but can get busy and not a lot of staff manning it. Thought the place could have done with a bar which opened on an evening, reception area certainly big enough to accommodate one. Wi-Fi was hit and miss, could rarely get it in room but ok around pool when I didn’t really need it. Im not sure if I’d go back here again as I didn’t think the amenities were great but can’t fault the location.

We've never stayed at this complex before, indeed we've never been to Tenerife before, needless to say we were a little apprehensive on both counts. Reception were on the ball, check in was easy. We had a 1 bedroom apartment in B Block, it overlooked a pretty courtyard style area with some beautiful palms, it was quiet and benefitted from the afternoon and evening sun. The apartment was straight forward and very clean, we lost count on how many times the bedding and towels were changed during our two weeks stay - in fact the whole apartment complex was always clean. The pool was heated which was lovely and the pool area was pretty and well kept - it looks just as it does in the photos. We were half board, in the past that has always been a bit 'hit and miss' for us ..... not here, the food was varied, an abundance of choices and plenty of it but above all it was tasty, well cooked and presented. The location of the complex was ideal with easy access to the beaches and manicured paths where you can enjoy walks in either direction ...... there are so many bars and eateries along the way. The local buses (Titsa) are a must really, they are cheap and easy to use. We could go on but suffice to say we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tenerife and out stay at Parque Del Sol, the staff work really hard to ensure your stay is a good one ..... would we go back?, Yes!

Have been here twice before and mostly good, we were put in a dungeon room, right by the gates last time for a few days, where people could access your room at night, as it was too hot to have the doors closed, did eventually get moved to an upper floor room. We booked again for this October and asked for an upper floor room as my daughter didn’t enjoy the last holiday due to the dungeon room, which fed into her anxiety and consequently, her IBS, the hotel are unable to sort this, as they cannot guarantee rooms, even though we had paid for a two bedroom apartment with sea view and offered to get a medical letter. Very strange as I’ve worked in numerous hotels and we allocate bookings as soon as they come in, so you know what rooms you have left. Have cancelled the booking and booked in close by, where they can guarantee our room. Shame as when you’re not condemned to a dungeon room, it’s quite a nice place to stay.
