Just came back from a 2 week stay my boyfriends first holiday abroad and we absolutely loved it and already wish we was back! All of the staff was very welcoming and friendly towards us . We was self catering but ate a couple of times in the hotel and there was plenty of choice each day and the drinks was reasonably priced just remember the hotel is CASHLESS. we stayed in a bedroom apartment with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The restaurants and bars outside the hotel was brilliant and was only a 15 minute walk from the beach. There was great day entertainment on and the entertainment staff was amazing. never really struggled to get a sunbed even at 1pm at the large pool !!! would 100% come back x

We just returned from a fantastic week at Hotel El Duque in Costa Adeje, and I can’t recommend it enough! It was the perfect family getaway, and our 7-year-old had an absolute blast. The best part of our evenings was the mini disco. Every night, the kids came alive with excitement, but what really made it special was the entertainer, Riccardo. He was so engaging and friendly, taking the time to interact with the children. Our little boy, who loves dancing, was thrilled when Riccardo showed him some dance moves. It made his night, and he looked forward to the disco every evening! The self-catering facilities in the apartment were great, allowing us to prepare our meals with ease while enjoying the flexibility of eating out when we wanted. The location is also perfect, close to the beach and local attractions. Overall, El Duque Aparthotel is a fantastic choice for families. With great entertainment, comfortable accommodations, and a friendly atmosphere, it's an experience we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Just about to leave this wonderful complex, couldn't fault any of it from the food , staff and facilities. Rooms were kept immaculate with a cleaning service every day. The pool bar was well equipped and sheltered from the heat. Just a stroll from the shops and a 10 min walk to the beach area. Food was lovely and varied every day. We are sad to leave but will definitely be back. Thank you el duque.

We had a very good time, the staff was kind and friendly, the structure is well looked after and well organised. Located near a shopping center and not far from the beach, it was very practical for the needs required, upon our arrival we were greeted by the reception who was present for every eventuality. The restaurant is well organized and the food is of good quality with variability for all tastes. Our room was very clean and spacious, we enjoyed our stay very much. The 2 swimming pools allow you to choose whether to remain calm or be involved in the entertainment, which despite the few people present always manages to offer something to do, very friendly and kind in particular Alex and Veronica who were super helpful and let us through truly a pleasant stay. The bar offers excellent cocktails and the all inclusive is of good quality. The staff was the highlight, we will definitely be back.

We stayed in a studio, apt Block I (105) for a weeks all inclusive stay. Overall first impressions was that it was a very well kept resort but when we got inside the studio apt we were disappointed as it was very out dated and not cleaned very well along with an awful smell of cigarettes that was there for the entire week. There is no air con in these rooms which we were aware off in advance so no issue there as it was cool enough at night but i certainly would not stay in one of these studios in the summer. They provide a fan but ours was broken and had to request a new one. Be prepared to be kept awake till at least 1am as these studios front out onto a shopping complex that has loud bars. Had I of known this is advance I would not have stayed there as there was no mention on the website. I requested a room change the following morning at reception and was told that all music stops at 11 and to ring in future and they would get security to go around if there was noise. The following night was the same even after I rang reception. The following morning I went back to reception and the little man that sits in the back desk then started to change his story and said there was nothing he could do. Even though the hotel was only half full {something that both he and the manager denied} they would not move us to another studio room in a quieter area. Both the little man and the manager were extremely rude and couldn't have cared less and I was shocked at this level of customer service and wondered how they could treat people like this, lying to our face. They basically told us to like it or lump it and shrugged thier shoulders as if we were the ones in the wrong. All the other staff, animation and dining staff were the total opposite, very friendly and very helpful. Regarding the all inclusive food , this was very nice and there was always something different to eat. Because there is no self service for the drinks at the pool bar, the queues can be quite long as there was only one person on and when non inclusive people are getting drinks it seems like a lot of paper work for the bar tender which slows everything down. Only real complaint for us was to do with the studio room and how rude the day reception staff were including the so called manager. We had come to El Duque to see what it was like before booking 20 rooms for a wedding next year but we definitely will not be staying here for that because of how we were treated. This is not a four star hotel, it is 3 star at best.

This was our second stay and this time in block E, top floor, overlooking mountains. This was the best view to wake up to, meeting sunrise and enjoying peaceful evenings. Hotel cleanliness, food, drinks were spot on. WiFi worked well. Chef Oscar very friendly and welcoming. Entertainment went downhill this year. It looks like since Ricardo left, there hasn’t been a new permanent team recruited and as a result there was poor mini disco, lack of passion and care for kids, including mini club being constantly shut and that’s considering we went in half term. Really disappointed. We would consider coming back third time as the location, food/drinks are amazing. However, the entertainment really does need to improve. Some of the evening acts are also not great, hotel should pay attention to audience reaction. Smoking in the entertainment area or loungers was also a big problem this year. Last year there were signs everywhere prompting people to respect others.
