Hotel Riu Arecas - Adults Only

From the moment we arrived we were wowed with how clean the hotel is. Checkin was smooth & quick and we were seen by a very friendly man. We were also given refreshments on arrival nice touch. We were lucky our room was ready as we did arrive couple hours early. The rooms are bright and spacious with plenty storage, great shower, and fridge, kettle and tea & coffee. We had a pool view room which would definitely recommend. There were 2 pools and a fab pool bar then the beach club pool down quite a few steps which also looks onto the main promenade/walk way. I'd say its 30 minute walk into Puerto Colon to the left and Caleta about 20 to the right. buffet food was one of best we've had hot food hot and great selection. Yes it can be busy but its summer! All the staff are fabulous from reception, to waiters, bar staff to cleaners. The entertainment was very good and varied. 100% will be back. The hotel is for those wanting peace & quiet for those wanting jumping nightlife on the door step not so and yes the average age is over 50! Drinks very reasonable to buy in hotel. Loved the white night complimentary transport & All Inclusive nice touch!

First of all this hotel is spotless clean everyone of the staff seem to enjoy what they doing from cleaners to bar staff all have smiles on their faces the food at breakfast is great plenty of choices evening meals so many choices the bedroom we had was spot on prices at the bar very reasonable as well no mad rush for sun beds seems plenty to go around down side there are quite a few steps down to beach you can walk around from front of hotel to beach but it’s up hill coming back this hotel is in the quiet side of Adeje which was great for us but it is quite so a night round about we went for two weeks and the entertainment was good every night now for the only downside it says there is dress code for evening meals but seems only to apply to men no vest tops and swim wear but women seem to be able to wear anything if you have a code for evenings make sure you apply it to everyone i would still give hotel 10 out of 10 we will be back next year

Very nice stay! Although the furniture is outdated the hotel is very clean. Good quality food with lots of choices. The service is very attentive ( except Felix whose actions are way behind his team). The pools are clean and the beach is close by. The animation were good although the repertory was quite repetitive despite the groups being different every night. A bit boring for young people. The Riu party would be better without kids and with a mix of music styles.

Me and my partner got married on Friday the 25th July 2025 and came away to Riu Arecas for our honeymoon on the Saturday 26th July for a week. The hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and inviting and to top it off we were given a free bottle of champagne to celebrate! We can't thank this place enough for a wonderful honeymoon and my partners first experience abroad!

Amazing hotel , brilliant staff and service. Food excellent and service superb! Would highly recommend to any couple wanting a relaxing break. If you want a night with fun and music the bars and nightlife of San Eugenio, is only 10 minutes away on the bus, bus stop outside hotel, & is 2 euros or 8 euros in a taxi. There is also a lovely bar/café & supermarket opposite the hotel where the staff are super friendly and helpful. Thoroughly fabulous break 😍
