I recently stayed at the H10 Hotel in Fuerteventura. The location was amazing with a beautiful beach and turquoise water just a short walk away. I have stayed on the 6th floor with part sea view which I pay extra for. There were a few of issues during my stay that were disappointing. First, after a long 24-hour journey, we were told that our room wouldn’t be ready until 3:15 PM, which was frustrating. Once we finally checked in, the room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. To make things worse, there was no ironing board or iron in the room, which meant I had to rely on the hotel’s paid ironing service, something I prefer not to use. Additionally, there was no kettle or coffee machine in the room which was absolutely shocking as I have travelled all over the world and never experienced anything like that. The real issue, however, came when I returned from the beach. I found that my room had no towels, and I had to wait an entire hour for fresh towels to be brought to me. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, especially after a long day in the sun. The food at the hotel was also underwhelming. The selection was limited, and the taste was quite bland. I expected more from a hotel in such a stunning location. The evening entertainment was very poor do not waste your time! While the weather and beach were definitely highlights, the poor service, lack of amenities, and discomfort in the room made it hard for me to fully enjoy my stay. I wouldn’t return to this hotel in the future.
