Best Costa Mesa Spa Hotels

I did not even get a chance to get the keys to my room,as I left out of safety concerns for myself and my child. The receptionists appeared to be high on speed and looked unclean, unkempt, and unprofessional. The lobby was a mess, and the back counter of the office had photocopies of people's credit cards scattered across the counter. Not sure what happened to those credit cards and I hope the security of the accounts was not breached, but I am not hopeful. The receptionist was not aware of my reservation, and although it was 10pm when I arrived, said she was ”not sure if my room would be ready”. WHAT? It was late at night. She then disappeared and I never saw her again. During the time I was waiting in the lobby, a man, appearing to be homeless, came in visibly wasted, muttering to himself and the proceeded to throw up in the lobby. Another woman, also drug/alcohol impaired, was wandering around with the man, and once it was clear that I would NOT be staying there (and the receptionist never returned), the man and woman offered me cash to take my room. Needless to stay, I got the hell out of there as soon as I could. There were various sketchy looking people wandering around the grounds, and it was clear this was a place with sketchy activities going on. Please do NOT stay here.

The hotel offers an airport pick-up service, but it is recommended to call the front desk. Because the airport is small, the hotel shuttle does not always run between the airport and the hotel. The service is good, the room space is relatively large, but it seems that there is no bottled water in the room.

We stayed a night for president’s day weekend. We checked in around 8 PM and were greeted by excellent service from their front desk specialist, Alexander. Alexander was quick to get us checked in and truly helped us feel welcome. I can say it was one of the best check in experiences I have had. He was able to provide all pertinent info we needed and promptly direct us to our room. We found our room very clean and ready for a relaxing evening after a day on our feet. We recently stayed at the property after a two-year absence due to our disappointment with the former management team in general and with one of the front-desk managers in July 2022. We took the risk to stay again at the property mainly due to its great location, notably the nearby South Coast Plaza shopping malls and the Segerstrom Center for The Arts. We enjoyed our stay at the property. We were very happy with the new management team and their staff. Overall, they all appeared professional, courteous, and effective. We noted that the restaurant - especially the quality of the food - had been greatly improved: we had one of the best margaritas during our visit in southern California and that the housekeeping service was very good: always on time and responsive to our daily needs in a timely manner. In addition, we enjoyed the swimming pool; it seemed that there was a good team managing the pool: the temperature was perfect and the water was always clean.

The hotel staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and not luxurious, but it was basically good. The hotel is a 25-minute drive from Disney and about an hour from Universal Studios. The airport also takes an hour and a half. It is close to Irvine. You can go there for Chinese food, you can eat Haidilao, and beef is a must. There are also net red hi multi-party ramen, just to line up. In short this hotel is recommended, there is a laundry room, and the underground parking lot can also reach the elevator, which is great

Clean, nice, friendly, professional at front desk offered 5-star customer service in the middle of night. Let me transfer rooms 2x due to my disability & took full responsibility. Also personally came to each room & helped me transfer my stuff. Impressive. Especially during quarantine.
