Quite surprised by the positive reviews… I will keep this brief. We had booked a one bedroom apartment but on arrival we had been upgraded to a newly refurbished 2 bed apartment at the back of the complex near to the restaurant. Room 1091. Overall the room was pleasant enough. The downfall was, firstly the view.. the balcony overlooked an area which was used to dump discarded furniture and building material. A good idea would be to shield this. Somehow, maybe with planting it would make a big difference aesthetically. It’s Not what you would expect on holiday. One would hope for a reasonably pleasant view! The secondly the noise coming from the indoor swimming pool which was adjacent to us. We did go to reception and asked to be moved initially. We were told they had no other rooms available and to go back the following day. We decided to stay put in the end but in hindsight, I wish we had of moved as the noise continued, especially when People arrived to stay in the upstairs apartment. Bear in mind if you are put to the back of the resort, it is very noisy! The staff Weren’t very friendly either. I work in Customer Service, so a warm friendly greeting goes along way. Maybe the staff need more training. No animation team. No entertainment in the evening. Would I return? It’s a definite, NO from me. We stayed first week in March 2024
