This cozy and relaxing space is a back unit 1 bedroom 1 bath with back yard deck access. This place is small but mighty! Just a short 10 min stroll to 5th avenue beach & a 5 min walk to downtown Manistee! This setup is a bit unique to provide a great little space for your family! The 1 bedroom holds a triple bunk each with twin size mattresses and a rollaway cot which can be used if needed. The living room has two fold out couches. One is your traditional style fold out couch & one is a IKEA folding couch (very cozy). One is full size and one is a queen. Both fit two adults each. The living-room ottoman tranforms into a single rollaway cot perfect for a child or small adult. This unit could sleep 6-9 depending on your personal needs. Unsure? Just ask! Meadow Cottage is a newly renovated 100 year old farmhouse with a hot tub located in beautiful Northern Michigan. Perfectly situated for year round fun including skiing at Crystal Mountain (13 miles), Caberfae (36 miles), snowmobiling (.2 miles), Lake Michigan (7 miles), or golfing at Arcadia (9 miles). Beautifully designed rooms provide space for up to 8 guests.Step outside to our patio to soak in our large spa under the stars or sit around the campfire.Our front living room includes a stunning towering fireplace. Look up and admire the hand-hewn original beams of the vaulted ceiling. Tucked away in this space is our queen sleeping loft. Sure to be a favorite sleeping area for all! The living room sofa also offers a pull out queen bed.Our fully stocked kitchen is perfect for providing meals during your stay. Please note, the fence opening shown in the photos is now a gate that can close off the entire space.The walk out basement boasts a 100" projection movie screen with bean bags, comfy rugs, a foosball table, and plenty of storage for your ski or summer gear. Full laundry is also available so that your winter items are ready for your next adventure on the slopes!It is our goal that the house be a blend of unique and comfortable, romantic and simple, tastefully decorated and well stocked for all of your needs. The house sits on a 65 acre parcel of Northern Michigan land and it was designed to reflect this stunning property. Enjoy the quiet seclusion on 5 private acres. The property is on the Betsie River and depending on the time of the year has steelhead and salmon. Trout are in it year round. Sit on the large covered deck and enjoy the outdoors with a campfire. If you aren't a homebody, Crystal Mountain is only about 3 miles away. Great Skiing and golf are available. The Iron fish distillery is only 2 miles away and have very good food and drinks made from products grown on site. a 15-20 minute drive will get you to the beautiful beaches at Arcadia, Elberta, and Frankfort. Crystal Lake is also close by. A little longer drive and you can experience the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Our property is a family cottage not a commercial rental. The downstairs bedrooms are small. The cottage will sleep many but just so there aren't any surprises the dining table is made for 6 people (you can fit 8). There is a covered deck with a picnic table that seats 8. The downstairs living room seats 8 and the upstairs family room seats 5. The upstairs family room and bedroom is a combined room. There is a tv upstairs that picks up local channels via an antenna.
