Recently stayed at the hotel and from initial checking in to checking out it was a five star expedience.Accommodation was excellent , food fabulous , staff exceptional and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable ! I have stayed here on several occasions before and plan to return in the near future ! Great location, fabulous spa , didn’t avail on this visit but have in the past ! Attaching some photos of the meal on our first night stay 30/1/25 .. Every time I return it definitely get better .. Breakfast fab , we had our dinner in the bar and it was exceptional ..

Stayed here again and once more was left leaving very happy. Rooms are large and comfortable and with bottled water and tea and coffee. Food in the bar was excellent and well priced. Staff were all very friendly and hotel was warm throughout. Scones on arrival were served in the front bar along the main street.

Stayed for one night in Villa Rose in Ballybofey while on work duty in Donegal. Check in was efficient, great space in a very comfortable bedroom and service in the hotel top class. Used the pool facilities next door in Jackson's and overall top class stay.

The moment we stepped into the reception area we knew that we had made a good choice. The receptionist greeted us with cheery "Good afternoon" and we immediately sensed a genuine welcoming atmosphere. The place was spotless, as was our room and was ready on time. The bed was "comfy", the food was excellent and the Staff were friendly and helpful. We couldn't really have asked for more! We will be back!

While passing through Ballybofey we called in to the Bistro at the front of the hotel for a quick lunch. We arrived at 3pm, we were given menus straight away. We waited at least 30 minutes before anyone took our order and for our drinks to arrive. The food arrived after 50 minutes. An all day breakfast which had bacon and tomato left over from the morning. Bacon was rock hard. Eggs were fried to within an inch of their lives. Not good. I had a chicken burger which had the smallest chicken breast ever. And it was lukewarm as were the chips. All in all a terrible lunch. And there are not enough staff working. It's hard work trying to get someone's attention. Unfortunately we won't stop there again any time soon.

Room was excellent. Food was delicious, specially the five course carvery on Sunday. Breakfast top class. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the man who helped us to get the electric car on the charge. Overall very good stay and will be back.

Booked this hotel a few times..well pleased each time..its a quiet hotel backing on to a river with wonderful walks ...the rooms are spacious the bed comfortable I had no complaints on my stay there..book the afternoon tea it was amazing...across the street is a fantastic place for late night food..o that Hawaiian burger..very reasonably priced ..there is plenty to see round the twin towns and a good stopover if your heading to Derry...loved it and will be back thank you

We had an amazing stay at the Villa Rose. We had a lovely spacious room with all necessary amenities, had a great relaxing time in the thermal suite in the spa, and a tasty carvery dinner on the day we arrived. The staff are very helpful too. We will definitely be returning!

We had never been to Ballybofey before but thanks to our stay in Villa Rose we will be back again. Rooms spacious & beautifully decorated. Dinner & Breakfast were delicious. Lovely ambiance from the reception & bar including the spa. The staff were all so courteous, friendly & full.of typical Donegal humour. Plus having the use of the leisure centre in their sister hotel Jacksons was an added bonus. Lovely walks nearby
