At the end of our holiday we spent one night at La Fornal: what a find! and everything about the hotel was magic: comfy beds, spacious bedrooms, very very kind and attentive hosts, delicious supper and breakfast - everything was just perfect! Will definitely be going back!

Driving North from Barcelona, you definitely have to take a minor detour to Terrades and stay at Olga's amazing Hotel Rural - La Fornal. Small and intimate, the attention to design is superb and the food .......... cannot fault it. Everything about La Fornal makes you want to stay longer and definitely return. We will be back.

Na een lange rit over de franse snelwegen op weg naar het zuiden van Spanje, is dit een uitstekende plek om even bij te komen. 10 min rijden vanaf de snelweg. Je wordt hartelijk welkom geheten in een prima hotel gelegen in een authentiek dorpje. Grote kamer, uitstekend schoon bed. En douche is prima. Avond eten is hier uitstekend en het ontbijt is goed verzorgd. Gastvrijheid is hier het handelsmerk. Olga doet haar best om het naar je zin te maken. Zoek niet verder en boek dit hotel. Er zijn ook wat hiketrails in de buurt, dus als jullie 2 nachten in dit hotel willen genieten en een dag over hebben.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit, et dîner à la fornal. Située dans un village, entouré de voisins avec des chiens pour le moins bruyant, aboiements frequent. Le repas était correct ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Affaire familiale où tout le monde participe.

Accueil parfait ,chambre et salle de bain avec une décoration tres soignée. Dîner et petit déjeuner très élaboré et délicieux. Une étape très agréable et en campagne pour descendre vers l Espagne. Proche de Figueras et de la frontière....

Petit hôtel plein de charme. Le patron et son fils sont extrêmement attentifs et aux petits soins. Les 4 chambres sont décorées avec soin à l’ancienne. Le menu à 32€ était très bon et fin et le petit déjeuner servi à table était très copieux et bon.

¡Ha sido todo una maravilla! El hotel es un encanto, se come muy bien, tienen un jardín precioso y el dueño es súper atento y agradable. El desayuno riquísimo y la habitación muy bonita. Esperamos poder repetir en poco tiempo. Gracias por todo, ha sido un placer.
