Needed a hotel centrally placed and the Britianna Hotel was perfect.
Upon arrival reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
Room was clean and tidy,
If staying in Coventry again wouldn't hesitate to use the hotel again.
Need to upgrade their teabags though- kept breaking 🫣- but that's the only issue.

March 26, we arrived at 3:30. The front desk receptionist was discourteous. and lack basic customer service. She did not show us where the elevator was located. The room was freezing cold. When I asked the maintenance man on the 4th level to show us how to turn on the heating, we were told that the heat does not come on until 5:00 pm. He brought us a space heater. At 4:00 am we woke up because the room was again freezing. They had turned the heating off during the night. This hotel is old, and looks like a hostel. Very poor quality. I overheard some guest complaining that their room was not cleaned in 3 days.

I used Britannia quite a few times and never really found any issues, but of course me to not wanna come back
Obviously, for the price that you pay is what you get as a reasonable priced hotel and accommodation
The room I stayed in 504 probably could do with a bit of TLC on the colours of the paint but other than that it was really comfortable

No proper House keeping, no daily cleaning and taking away garbage from the the room and no proper blankets or duet provided and room is cold

Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and attentive, was able to do an early check in for the price of £15 which is great. However the woman with glasses did make a mistake of shouting my door number out loud (I work in hotels and you’re not supposed to do this you usually just have the room number on the card that’s holding the key card) so people in the corridor knew where was my room was, which made me a bit uneasy as a female solo traveller. When I entered the room there was a weird smell to it so I just turned the fan on and opened the window and it went. The bathroom sink was dirty and had dry used toothpaste sliding down the side and the right single bed had someone’s hair and a little brown spot on it. So I slept on the left. Beds are really comfortable, only problem rooms get really hot even with fan on and you can’t open window widely. Will stay again as it’s a cheap stay for one night. Easy commute, right outside Coventry pool meadow bus station.
