3-Star Hotels in Crawley

I spent one night at the Europa and I wasn't very much I pressed considering the price of the room (almost £80). Here the issues I spotted: 1) Poor bus connection and time consuming (40 minutes) to and for the airport : number 100 is a bus with no racks for the luggages 2) At the bus stop no indications for the Hotel, so ease use an app to find out the hotel's direction 2) Room not very clean 3) Power sockets on the opposite wall compared to the sidebed's tables 4) Bathroom's fan dirty 5) Bathroom's sink ruined 6) very noisy Aircon in the room Positive has been the interaction with a Lady at the check-in and the taxi connection. I do believe that for approximately £80 the quality should improve: cleaner rooms and higher quality of the furniture. As mentioned, the staff was very nice and kind, but on a scale from 0 to 10 I would value my experience as 5-.

Overall, there is a parking lot downstairs, a restaurant, and breakfast at the hotel. There is tesco next to it, and it is convenient to buy things. There is a lawn opposite, and there is a Chinese restaurant that can be packed in the adjacent block.

Stayed here as my wife had an interview at a local company and the room was booked by the company. Don’t be put off by the out of the way car park and car cleaning crew in the car park. Just on the edge of Crawley city centre this Tudor hotel offers an easy 5min walk into the centre. It is a Tudor style building and the age dictated the decor and style. Unfortunately for us the previous guest left the room on FULL HEAT which meant the room was a hit box! Evening opening the Windows did not cool it down. This made for an uncomfortable nights sleep which I suppose isn’t really the hotels fault (no Aircon in room). Plenty on offer to eat just outside hotel from take away to restaurants. Hotel is also known as The George Hotel

The hotel is close to London Gatewick Airport and has convenient transportation. The Bus station is right in front of the hotel. It costs 2 pounds to go to the south and north terminals of the airport. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the room facilities are complete and quiet.

It's clearly had a good refurb at least superfically, but why not put new doors in with better sound isolation from the corridor? and more acosutic isolation in the walls? and fix the plumbing as you can hear endlessly singing taps from all corners of the floors? And windows that do not open to let fresh air in and get dust out? and automatic front doors that dont knock you over when you walk in. Also £25 PER NIGHT for parking is absurd. Location is fairly close to gatwick for flights but pretty aweful for any other reason as such i would nto reccomend for local business needs

We stayed the night before our early flight and was greeted by the MOST friendly staff member called Jay. He went above and beyond for us and even helped us source some pens so our daughter could use her colouring book. The room was clean and tidy and there is a lovely pub next door serving a range of food - the curry was lovely but lots of choice from pizza, Sunday lunch - lots of vegetarian options - caters for all! Definitely recommend for a night before stay when flying from Gatwick too VERY close to the airport 🛫. Thanks again Jay for saving out daughter from being bored silly! X
