Muthu Ben Doran Hotel
"The hotel, nestled in the woods, had a nice view, but the facilities were quite old. The sink faucets had separate hot and cold water dispensers; the hot water was scalding, and the cold water was freezing. The fourth floor had recreational facilities. We encountered a tour group of elderly people playing cards and billiards there. I ordered a pizza, which was quite good and suited my Chinese palate."
Alma Cottage
Luib Hotel
"Tiny room without sufficient space for luggage. Toilet seat was wobbly, shower door had a gap. But at least the water was consistent and hot."
Tyndrum Lodges
"There is a cool refrigerator"
Best Western Crianlarich Hotel
"The room is good and the breakfast is plentiful."
Inverardran House Bed and Breakfast
"Our second stay in this very welcoming guest house. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, with an excellent en-suite shower room. Breakfast was exceptional, and service friendly and helpful. John let us charge our electric car on his charge point (for cost, so he makes no profit on this). The bird life outside the breakfast room is a delight, and we were thrilled to watch red squirrels. We are sure to return."
Clifton Cottage B&B
"I have no words to describe the place. We fell in love with the place. Great breakfast, amazing owners and amazing view. We went there multiple times and we will go again. Is a place where you can feel like home."
Crianlarich Youth Hostel
"We had a good night in the hostel having taken the lovely train journey from Glasgow before a day walking the west highland way with family. The woman at reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We chose to have a 4 bedded room for the 2 of us, so it was not that cheap but worth it for a relaxed night sleep and some privacy. There was a washbasin in the room, but it was not ensuite. The toilets/showers were clean and pleasant. There was a good breakfast - we helped ourselves and washed up afterwards. Good value. There is a pleasant, comfortable sitting room which would have a wood fire in winter. The hostel is well situated, very near the station and handy for 3 eating places."
Craigbank Guest House
"After completing the West Highland Way and staying at eight pre-booked establishments, we give this one the award for best Bed & Breakfast, best bed, best white fluffy towels, best interior design, and best hospitality. Veronica & Colin are seasoned and proud professionals. From their friendly greeting, to their well coordinated tour and escort to your room, to the service of the delicious breakfast in the conservatory, these two deliver five star service with a passion to weary hikers and travellers in the heart of Scotland. We would stay again and welcome them to our place in Canada to return the hospitality, you’ve got our card."
