Our room was lovely in the walled garden, plenty of coffees teas biscuits, very clean and comfortable. The food was very good too with generally great service. More choice for ordering main meals on the specials would be desirable. The sweets were outstanding as was breakfast. The entertainment mostly was good but could definitely be improved at times it was manic. More activities in the day would be good too especially when the weather is bad. We have been before and had much better interactions with the entertainment staff who didn’t make much effort to chat. My biggest gripe is the vip pass we buy so we have waiter service and our own seats for the time we are there, we were boxed in so much with people behind us one lady was very disabled and couldn’t move. We were stepping on toes trying to get out at times which was unacceptable, in an emergency we would have really struggled to get out. The waiters and waitresses literally had to pass our drinks to us via other customers as they could not get anywhere near us. This has really put us off coming again, we paid a lot for this vip privilege and it wasn’t worth it. It certainly wasn’t vip. That many people have been crammed in - dangerous. The grounds and cleanliness I cannot fault.

This was our fourth time at a Warner hotel, having previously stayed at Littlecote House, Heythrop Park and Corton, and this was by far the worst. Many areas are in need of TLC. We had may issues, however, the management team are very much not interested in any issues and are generally dismissive and not bothered. The food was nearly always lukewarm are just cold. The service at the bar terrible and on all three evening no one cleared any glasses off any tables. We would not return.

Lovely massage with therapist Lily. Excellent care given in Tree tops restaurant by Claire..thank you. I think that more club type chairs are needed in balcony area as the upright chairs are not very comfortable..particularly the less able visitors. Everything else is 100% as always..

Lovely 5 days break lovely room and grounds, only thing is if you are disabled or find it hard to walk far try and book a room in the courtyard not the wall garden it was a long walk to the dining room, we even went to mass on the Thursday lovely little church, food very nice 👍🏻 and staff worked hard we will definitely be back,

The guided grounds tour by Steve was brilliant. A combination of factual information interlaced with dry wit and repartee. The tour was over an hour long but none of the guests were hurried along or left behind. The grounds at Cricket are absolutely beautiful especially when we went in tge springtime with all the daffodils and primroses in flower. We thoroughly recommend guests do the tour.

Very disappointed. We stayed here this time last year, thoroughly enjoyed it. Not so this time. We were in a signature room in the walled garden. The room was clean and well stocked with tea and coffee. No robes, but this was sorted out quickly, a minor irritation. The biggest disappointment was the food. Lack of choice at the deli counter. Beef was touch, chicken was dry. Everything was lukewarm. Drinks service was dreadful. Can’t blame the waiter, he was rushed off his feet, working to take orders on his own. Happy hour was in one bar only, a long hike from the main bar area. Not sure how they can justify the price of the drinks. Having stayed at other, much superior, warners hotels, we will not return to this one.

Came back with bed bugs from this break. Written to Warner and a reply to say they would investigate and get back to us but never did. They simply do not care and just want your money. take great care if visiting as the bed bugs are proving very difficult and expensive to remove. Over £800 spent already!
