Sunday Lunch. This was very disappointing for several reasons. One of the options for the Main Course was Belly Pork and we were asked, on ordering, if we wanted apple sauce. We said; 'yes,' but no apple sauce came. When we enquired, they said; "we have no apple sauce." With the cheese cake dessert we asked if we might have some cream. The response was that we only have cream (thick) for scones. Therefore, there was no cream available for the cheese cake. More importantly; one of our group was Celiac and we had, on booking, requested that this might be taken into account. The dessert options were limited to' 'one choice.' When this came to the table there was a piece of biscuit (not gluten free) appended to the gluten free ice cream. In spite of these issues a 5% service charge was added. Overall, very disappointing.

We booked an army reunion here - 20+ people staying in the hotel with private dining on one of the nights .From start to finish the hotel surpassed our expectations . A stunning location with amazing views . A massive shout out to Suzanne the events coordinator who spent time with me planning menus and went over and above to cater to our requirements . The hotel is very characterful with charming rooms, beautifully clean. The gym and spa were also impressive for such a small hotel. On the evening of the dinner there were plenty of very accommodating staff lead by Suzanne who delivered the most delicious food in a very timely manner.Nothing was too much trouble . Our friends had flown in from all over the world and loved spending time in Crickhowell with all it has to offer. They were all very impressed by the hotel and would happily stay again. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this lovely hotel.

Big thank you to all the staff for making us so welcome, and giving Mum the best 90th birthday celebration. Several family members stayed and really enjoyed the facilities, as well as the friendly atmosphere and great food, served in the lovely dining room. Hannah and the team did a great job many thanks and we'll definitely be back

This is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in..... The food is magnificent with a huge variety of high quality breakfast items to choose from. The room is big and comfy, and nice and warm, and they have a pool, gym, Jacuzzi , Steam Room & Sauna which is complimentary for guests. Great cutsomer service too.......and it's on lovely grounds in the countryside..... Perfect for business or pleasure

The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade/refurbishment. No running hot water, radiator not working, broken light pully in bathroom, no shelf, towel rail or toilet roll holder, no hairdryer. Stained and dirty chairs in the bedroom, the room really needs a good clean. There was no hot food or wifi which was blamed on the storm, but I see previous posts about no wifi so I'd question the lack of food & wifi being blamed on the storm. Breakfast was lovely but no cereal, fruit etc. It felt like the hotel was closing down. On a positive note, the staff are all absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly, they brought an electric heater to the room and the location is fantastic. The picture of the room was I was booking looked modern, newly decorated and luxurious but the room I stayed in was dirty and mismatched, £123 for this was poor.

Booked for an impromptu getaway days before Christmas, the decorations were beautifully done! Thank you to the staff we had the pleasure of meeting, a lovely blonde lady we did not get the name and Adrian, who were both so accommodating, informative and friendly. After a long journey and long hike on the first day a hot jacuzzi, a good meal and a large spacious room with a view was just what we needed and this hotel provided exactly that.

Outstanding Service from all the staff, especially Ella who took care of us at breakfast time. We stayed 4 nights at the Manor Hotel. 3 adults & toddler. Breakfast was cooked to perfection fresh to order, so much to choose from for every pallet. Dinner was delicious, steaks, chicken supreme, veggie options. Children's meals lots to choose from all cooked to your liking, staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is done perfect, highchair provided. Plates were nice & warm, tablecloths on all tables. Our Rooms were spotlessly clean, room 2 (has a Shower) & room 3 (has s Shower & Bath) nice up to date bathroom, all was in working order, room was cleaned daily towels were provided daily, tea coffee & bottled water, biscuits in your room were refilled daily. Our views from our rooms are appsolutly breath taking, watching the sunrise through the clouds, stars at night on a clear night, the sheep down below, beautiful views. If you like a hotel with the most amazing views, surroundings, and excellent staff service, a little Rustic & a lot of Character, then this is for you, I highly recommend. Please note you will need a car to get around. Thank you to all the staff for making our family trip to Wales amazing.

We have come here quite a few times over the last 2 years for Sunday lunch because it consistently delivers great food. Today was exactly the same. The roast beef was cooked to perfection and the mushroom Wellington was lovely. Loads of fresh vegetables again cooked beautifully. The hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings with a gorgeous view. The building itself is tastefully decorated. Staff are so welcoming and very helpful which all adds to the experience. We will definitely be returning.
