Wonderful wedding venue and winery. We all enjoyed their hospitality this week for a wedding of 50 people. Very accommodating staff and they have very nice wines on a beautiful property. Great pool and views. No fitness center. The food was also very good. Only nitpick was the guide they suggested in Matera who was bad. Definitely a great place for a stay or event.

We are a family of four and we stayed for four nights. We had a really relaxing stay. The breakfast was our favorite in Italy and the pool is gorgeous with plenty of seats and a decent restaurant. The staff is really outstanding. We felt very taken care of with Gessica at the front desk and Pina at the restaurant and at breakfast. A true retreat!

Amazing place from A-Z. Want to feel like the king of Puglia - then stay there. This unique Masseria offers everything from special rooms to fine dining. Don‘t miss to taste some wine as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. It only has 18 rooms, so this will never feel busy.

A very nice hotel, combining very good wine, great food, very nice views and walks in the surrounding winery with the most amazing staff! Our room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. The view from the veranda is breathtaking.The food served at the restaurant is very good and paired with a very good selection of wines. The breakfast is also very good, with good quality fresh products and good coffee. Special thanks to Maria Giovanna at the reception and to the hotel Manager for making our stay a holiday to remember!

I nearly didn’t book this hotel for our trip through Puglia - the photos on the website made it look rather soulless and stark. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It is in a beautiful location at the top of a hill, with amazing 360 degree views. It has been superbly renovated and is very stylish. Our room was incredible, huge with a vaulted ceiling, deep bath and a great roof terrace. The food was delicious, and the wine from the winery was incredible value - we paid less for a bottle of delicious wine here than we did for a glass in other places we stayed! There are only a couple of improvements that could be made. Firstly, there is no bar as such, so not much of a vibe in the evening. Secondly, the breakfast was slightly disappointing. The selection was ok, but the breakfast room lacked character, and was rather dark. It’s a great shame that they don’t use the outside area to the other side of the room, away from the courtyard, which had incredible views. But apart from this, fabulous in every way.

We tried to stay for 2 nights at the winery, but could only get one night, so that means we have to come back again! Everything about our stay was incredible. We booked an Exclusive room, which was a huge beautifully done upstairs room. We also booked the wine tasting, which included a property tour. The wines served were incredible, it was paired with a delicious charcuterie plate, and our companions at the tasting were great fun. We finished the evening with a four course dinner with wine pairings, and this was just top notch. Everything they do here is world class. If you took this place and dropped it in Tuscany or Napa it would cost 5 times the price. So treat yourself to an beautiful drive through the countryside of Puglia and go!!! We plan on being back......

My daughter was recently married in Puglia and we held the rehearsal dinner at Amastuola. Everything was simply perfect. The setting and the facility are flat out gorgeous. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. After a brief tour of the winery and a description of it's history, our party of 26 was seated in a beautiful dining area. Tableware, linens, flowers, were stunning. The winery curated a selection of their wines with each course. Before each course, the young woman who was our host explained the food and wine pairing. Sadly, I can't remember her name, but she was a delight. Then came the food. I've been to Puglia 3 separate times and dined at a number of quality restaurants in Bari, Brindisi, Ostuni, Locorotondo, and Lecce. I've had some terrific meals. Most of the meals I've experienced in Puglia are very traditional simple (but well prepared) dishes. Amastuola takes Puglian cuisine to another level. This was truly fine dining in an exquisite setting. Completely unexpected and amazing. If you are looking for a truly unique fine dining experience while in Puglia, I highly recommend Amastuola.

We had selected Amastuola as our destination wedding, while never having visited the venue before. It really was a fairytale come true. From the proximity to the owner of the Masseria, Filippo, that we had from day one, to the supportive staff who had clearly embedded the family owned culture of the venue. We had the entire place for 4 nights filled with our family and friends and it truly felt like home. It’s a stunning location that I can definitely see myself coming back to.
