"This hotel has no air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot with only a table fan. Do not stay here in the summer! I've never known anything like it. I've had to stay here 6 nights all 4 of us as a family my 2 children and husband and we are all sleep deprived from the heat the rooms get up to , it's been awful! If it's over 24 outside do not stay here! I've never known a room to heat up so much! I've lived in Cyprus so I know heat pritty well!!! Absolutely terrible."

Warbrook House Heritage Hotel ★★★

📍 The, Eversley St, Eversley

"Hotel was huge, couple of things that really disturb me: 1. Toilet were old and it stinks of damp 2. There were no window to open for fresh air evening time it really gets hot the room needs fresh air to circulate, I had to open the doors to get fresh airs. 3. The most disturbing thing that occurred when there were cleaners and other stuff came in the room without knocking the door there were no display to put outside when the room was occupied I stayed there for 2 nights the stuff just gets in with their master keys. Very unprofessional. 4. There were no bottles of water at the table normally when I enter most hotels there was water but this one there were nothing. 5. Make sure you bring along your charger for your mobile, normally hotels have USB this days. Other then that receptionist was friendly to give her charger."

Travelodge Camberley Central ★★★
"So, my wife and I are regular stayers at one of the often very good Travelodge's around the Country. Our three night stay at the Camberley in Surrey, Next to Camberley Railway Station, was an ideal location, with walking distance, for a weekend visit to a friends Barber Que. This occasion proved to be a complete disaster! As it is a hot summer, there was no room air conditioning, you could NOT open the window more than three inches as the window is fixed by a secure wire, to stop you from jumping out, you suffocate instead. Even the toilet fan extractor did not work, so the room was filled with shower steam and poo smell. You only have a noisy fan whining away all night just moving stale air around. The room was small which was okay if ventilated properly. Needless to say it was awful. We did tell the reception staff but they could not do anything. They did offer another hotel, but that meant additional expense and travel in a town we did not know. We came by train. The idea of the secure widow is plain daft. You have to be over 18 to book the room!! There were plenty of other high buildings around if I wanted to jump off, but no, we have to near suffocate instead, I suppose it is less messy. - Let's open the damned windows for goodness sake!! I do hope this is a one off as I like Travelodges and we have been to dozens now. - Oh, and another thing. Can anyone else get their app to work on their phones?? mine is totally useless, so I have deleted it, which is a shame as I'd like TL to know just how many times we have stayed."

DoubleTree by Hilton St. Anne's Manor ★★★★
"This manor hotel, nestled among the trees, boasts a pleasant and very quiet environment. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is quite good. The hotel has a charming historic feel, and there's a large free car park available."

Warbrook House Heritage Hotel ★★★
"We stayed at Warbrook for a friend's wedding, and while the setting is nice, the service left a lot to be desired. Check-in was a rigid 2pm with no flexibility whatsoever — the reception team wouldn't budge even by 10 or 20 minutes. Fair enough if the rooms were ready, but even after 2pm the rooms hadn't been cleaned and we still couldn't check in. So the hard cut-off wasn't about readiness, it was just policy for policy's sake. The hotel is also a fair walk from the wedding reception, so we asked whether the buggy could help move our luggage. We were told it wasn't working. Three hours later I watched that same buggy being driven around the grounds. Little things like this added up to a real sense of penny-pinching. We were only there because of the wedding, and honestly that's the only reason I'd suggest anyone stay. If you're looking for a hotel on its own merits, I'd look elsewhere."
