We had a one night stay in a room above the Billy Budds Pub and it was delightful. We were through-hiking on the South West Coast Path and it was a short walk from the Path to the village. Any concern about pub noise was unwarranted since the pub wasn't open mid-week in early May. The room was large, comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely return were it not several thousand miles and an ocean away!

Fabulous venue and staff are great as always but we felt the meal choice for our evening meal was was poor. On previous visits there has been a good choice for all tastes, but we felt the menu was limited. We struggled to find anything that we really fancied.
