I enjoyed staying at the Comfort Inn Crystal Lake - Algonquin. The only issue with this location for me was the front desk and morning breakfast. They would offer guests a juice box, breakfast bar, and a pop tart in a lunch bag. To make up for the current ”COVID-19 pandemic”. Some of which came up missing from the bag as the time progressed during my stay. As for the front desk it could use a bell to contact the staff when one is waiting for said morning breakfast as the comfort inns have at other locations. The overly friendly maintenance staff and house keepers make up for this at this location though, and are always ready to help if you see them. I sent a review to them recently and they have presumably made changes to the morning breakfast since my stay... as i mentioned a way they could enhance it. Its an excellent place in the area if one wishes to get away from things like the kids for a few days and even take the family dog with. So leave the hubby or wife stuck at home with said kids... and enjoy a simple private stay at the Comfort Inn Crystal Lake - Algonquin.
