Hotel Azul de la Plaza by Chat Noir ★★★
"A sweet deal for $25/night in mid July 2026. Great customer service, good location, and some of the staff speak English. The rooms were mostly comfortable even for a tall person. Decent hot water and pressure in the showers (but slow and sometimes clogged drainage), televisions in the rooms that don't work as intended, reliable wifi albeit slow, nice views from the windows, free coffee water and tea, broken/malfunctioning lamps and lights in the rooms. The hotel sits on one end of a public square with just about everything you'd need on a daily basis within walking distance."
Mansion Alcazar ★★★★
"The overall environment of the hotel is quite good. But the room was very small and very forced, there was no air conditioning, it was cold, and I lived on the second floor 4 times in the morning and evening to try to take a bath, but there was hot water once. The room can be said to have no sound insulation, Wifi is not so easy to use, often stuck and disconnected. Although the decoration looks good, the facilities experience is not very good, just so-so, the overall experience is generally biased."
Santa Lucia House - Forum ★★★★
"Great experience. Very professional staffs and smile on face.."
Hotel Boutique Santa Lucia ★★★★
"The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable with a small attention that makes you enjoy. The hotel is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel makes it easy to visit the city centre walking."
Four Points by Sheraton Cuenca ★★★★
"Very good, will come next time"
Oro Verde Cuenca ★★★★
"The entire hotel is non-smoking and clean"
Morenica del Rosario ★★★
Itza Hotel Boutique Internacional ★★★★
"The experience starts the moment you get in the lobby of Itza Hotel. Everything is so beautiful! Each piece and object of this hotel has been tastefully curated. When you get to the rooftop your jaw drops! It is simply gorgeous! The service is amazing and the food is awesome! It’s a place to visit over and over."
Hotel El Conquistador ★★★★
"Infrastructure at Hotel El Conquistador Rating: ★★☆☆☆ While Hotel El Conquistador occupies a prime location in the heart of Cuenca, my recent stay was significantly marred by critical infrastructure failures. The primary issue involved the hotel’s electrical supply system, which was not properly maintained. During my stay, the power supply was inconsistent and unreliable, causing a major disruption to my comfort and ability to use the room’s amenities. For a hotel of this standing, a stable power grid and functioning backup systems are fundamental expectations that were unfortunately not met. When I brought these concerns to the management's attention, the resolution offered was underwhelming. Rather than addressing the root cause of the maintenance failure or providing a practical solution for the lack of power, I was only offered a room upgrade. While I appreciate the gesture, an upgrade is of little value when the building’s underlying electrical issues persist regardless of the room tier. Pros: • Excellent location near the city center. • Professional staff interactions. Cons: • Poorly maintained electrical infrastructure. • Inadequate compensation/resolution for utility failures. Verdict: I cannot recommend this hotel until they undergo a significant overhaul of their electrical systems. Travelers relying on consistent power for work or personal devices should look elsewhere."

Hotel Casa San Rafael
"I like it because I love the breakfast they have, the rooms are very clean and relaxing for a long day. I love it and of course I'll be back"
Casa de las Rosas
"Our stay at La Casa de las Rosas was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, and every corner of the place feels warm and inviting. You can tell there's a lot of care behind everything they do. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cuenca. A peaceful, charming experience that we’d love to repeat. Thank you for making our stay so special!"

Hotel Presidente by Nass
"The hotel was very good, but the meat was a little hard, I think it could be improved by the rest was all rich in the bag, salad and rice. I recommend it to go with family and friends have a beautiful view of the city "
Parc Royale Suites Hotel
"It was an amazing experience, great service, room and breakfast"
Hotel Vaway
Hotel Raymipampa
"We are in the historic centre of Cuenca, very moving, lively and, I would say, almost western, and for the next two nights we will rest in a fantastic colonial house, restored, rising back to the last century. I would never have imagined waking up the morning of ferragosto in a hotel room with the vintage style, the end of the eighth century, Spanish colonial, and heard the sparkling of the trams on the rails. The rooms offer a patio and a living room, with a sofa and a desk for the comfort of guests."
Nass Central Garden
Hotel Santiago de Compostella Suites
"It's a hotel located in a good area, across from Supermaxi, and 10 minutes from the airport. I recommend it; I liked the service. The service in general is good, the rooms are comfortable, the price is very reasonable, and the staff are kind and helpful."
Hotel Norte
"Friendly owner and staff Great location for exploring Nearby restaurants and supermarkets are convenient. A spacious and comfortable place."
Hotel Yanuncay
"Our first 3 nights in Ecuador was spent at The Yanuncay Hotel in Cuenca. The hotel is a very short taxi ride to Parque de La Madre and all the wonders of the historic district. The hotel manager Marcos was amazing! He made every effort possible to be helpful and accommodating. We had 6 very large and heavy pieces of luggage and he helped us load all of them in our van that carried us to Loja. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy. Thank you Hotel Yanuncay for making our welcome to Ecuador so warm and welcoming. Richard and Donna"
