Hotel Stara Planina

There was no hot water in the hotel, we showered with cold water. The area around the lobby bar was very cold. A nice hotel, but it is all "drab and sleepy". The food was not replenished regularly when it ran out and the food was cold. The rooms were very clean.

Terrible experience. Stayed in a hotel, the hotel looks modern, but there are some old ladies working as cooks who have no teeth and some fat chef who yells at them. Management is bad.The nature is beautiful, only one waiter was good. an experience to avoid.

Service is excellent with no doubt. The staff is very friendly. There is a small ambulance and a pharmacy within the hotel. However, if you need something they do not have, they are bringing it from the nearest city, the next morning. The room is perfectly clean. There are a lot of animations for children and adults. The best of all is that the ski center is right next to the hotel! The perfect vacation for a family.

Just wanted to say that everything is almost perfect, but the reason I am writting this review is to say that I am shuddered (zgrozen) because the rate of roome service. It is 450din/4euros. This is a open robbery, shame on a management who approved such a price. SRAMOTA

Traveling should be the relaxation and joy, and not a journey into the unknown, especially when you are going somewhere abroad... Tired of everything related to the COVID 19, which has been holding us back for two years, complicates our lives and makes the travels impossible, this year we have decided to visit some place in our country SERBIA which is rich in natural beauties. The destination we have chosen this time is the Hotel Stara planina. Wonderful resort, almost on the very top of the mountain, all-inclusive service (excelent food), friendly staff, swimming pool outside and inside, free WI-FI, gym, spa, free parking in the garage, several ski slopes (in winter period) .. everything that is common in hotels like this one. What is different is the location! Totally isolated from civilization, but connected by a solid traffic infrastructure, this hotel offers complete peace in the natural environment In all directions there are endless forests, mountain peaks, lots of natural springs with clean mountain water, hiking trails, lot of points with amazing views.. During the summer period, you can also enjoy the forest fruits, blueberries, wild strawberries, raspberries.. We spent a wonderful week there and I would warmly recommend it to all nature lovers! Definitely it will be a destination that we will visit more often in the future.
