Together with his wife Helga, they were both a congenial duo. This was shown especially when selecting their staff. Many of them have been working here for years, very for the pleasure of the guests. Highly motivated, the serviceable spirits are doing their jobs. And so that the physical well-being is not too short, two restaurants have been created. The starlock, which has been awarded Michelin star for decades and the shaarhorn, also highly praised by many restaurant guides. All in all a perfect house. Hanseaticly restraint, but always when it is needed, Susan Cantauw leads the house. Loyal to the credo of Jürgen Starhagen: the guest is the best.
