Lake Roy Beach Inn - Winter Haven

The room was ok beds was terrible back breaking the shower didn't work until I had them install a new shower head the front door would close but now solid could be picked open with a butter knife toilet was clogged when we got there I had to plunge it to get the toilet paper cardboard out my tablet in my semi is bigger than their TV there is only 1 plug in the room and it has the TV light fridge coffee pot on it so bring u a charging pack to charge your phones beds are old spring beds they will hurt u ac didn't work well at all until the sun was gone for hours over all I won't stay there ever again its the worst hotel I've ever been in and I stay at alot of them..... I hope this helps people but the people there are nice...

Toilet was clogged but they came and unclogged right away. Wasn't the cleanist and really needs upgrades. Location was nice and the view of the lake was nice.

A/C Worked great. We stayed on the ground floor. The room was clean but needed some work. The location was beautiful. It has it's own boat ramp and slips. The lakes are connected together with canels. We did a 2hr nature tour that was really nice. The Inn has he most beautiful sunsets.

We did not stay. After checking in and entering our room we decided this was not a clean place. Heavily scented cleaner trying to cover mildew. Very old bed covers that appeared very dingy. My husband did not even want the dog to be on this bed. We returned the key and left. No refund.

Welcome to the 70's..... Very run down but quaint! The only ADA rooms were on the first floor and had to pay $60 extra to rent one . Total of $221.00 for a suite that was in much need of remodel. Won't stay here ever again!!

Nice little spot near legoland and was perfect for the family to stay and enjoy a florida lifestyle!

We stayed there because they allowed our dog. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The property was in disarray. Cluttered with uncompleted projects and broken junk. Our room smelled funny like fish. The toilet would not flush completely. The door was loose and not soundproof at all. It didn't seem secure as if it would easily give way. The ice machine worked.

* Parking was okay * AC worked fine* No phone in room to call Front Desk* I have pics and video of the following discrepancies. *Dirty Toilet* Toilet would not function properly after 2 svc repair attempts (had to use IHop and Walmart's toilets) * *Shower base same level of the floor causing water to run onto and under the beds and floor after shower* No soap tray/shelf in shower. * Hair on pillow from the unused bed. Same hair found in wife's mouth the next morning. Wooden (dining room) table and chairs. Chair already broken.

I always enjoy staying here. Great amenities and location. We love hanging out on the patio, by the pool, or by the lake.
